[Discussion] Goku/Luffy

Hey guys! I just started watching OP,and right now I am on episode 39! I pretty much like,it's starting to get better

But I have to notice one thing.. Luffy super reminds me of kid Goku.

They are supper similiar. They are diffrent than everyone around them,they have super powers that distinguishes them from anybody. And people have the same reaction when they use their powers,like ˝Who is this kid? ˝ and ˝How can he be so strong˝ . It's hilarious!

And their personalities are similiar,they are really pure and they love and protect their friends!

One Piece really brings back some flashbacks when I watched DB as a kid with my brother!

OT: Luffy was based a lot on Goku from Dragon Ball. Basically Oda did what Kishi tried to do xD

It's not just Luffy, nearly all shonen character have something of Goku. Though, Oda did good job with Luffy unlike some other mangakas.
