He's not Turles, because Turles was a one-off movie villain, and is therefore banished to the realm of non-existence, like all non canon characters.

Hes not a saiyan. That much can be said by how he spoke to trunks last episode.
He basically told him your saiyan race dies with you what a shame.

He's probably a being that used Gokus body as his own to accomplish his goals. He's also able to travel through time. So much mystery of him its interesting.

It's definitely not Goten or Turles, he's most likely not even a saiyan.

Wouldn't make sense for a God of Destruction to call himself Son Goku and be so weak (Goku fights him off as a SSJ2).

The best bet right now is that he's related to Zamasu (the green Kai), and has something to do with the destroyed six universes.

"So Weak" You say Goku can fight him off in SSJ2, I say that Goku needs to buff his power X100 to reach Black's base form. (X100 is the official multiplier of SSJ2, but that's highly debateable at this point)

He obviously has something to do with the green Kai, because Scooby Doo logic demands that all new characters are linked.

I do think he is weak tho, we all know Goku will go Suoer Saiyan God two and will defeat him and he be like wit impossible, what is this level, remember that Trunks is always a step behind.

Also Goku black has a time ring and a Makaioshin/Kaiohsin Earring.
So its likely that he has something to do with the Makaioshin/Kaioshin or other gods.

A new character Zamasu, who looks a bit like a different color version of Supreme kai, will be introtuded too.

For fusion you need 2 potara earrings. Black has 1.
Where are you getting the info of him being full power = ssj2 goku?
Old Kai and the witch, Kaishin and Kibito all fused but the Kais regain their looks more. What would make a Black look more saiyan than kai?

Where did I talk about full power/ssj2?

We dont know if the Makaioshin earrings work differently than the Kai ones,
regarding amount of earrings/afterwards and looks
or maybe 2 earrings were used in a fusion and than he took 1 off later for some still unknown reason.

The looks of the stronger person could dominate.
Both the fusion candidates could have a say in how much their looks involve the new person and if a dead Goku body was used in the fusion, the other person could have decided to take on Goku's looks mostly.

Maybe Zamasu is controlling Goku his dead body somehow by having him wear 1 earring and is not fused.
Who knows.

There is still a lot unknown but seeing how this Goku black behaves I doubt that the one in control of the body is a saiyan.

As he talks about erasing the saiyan race by killing Trunks
and if Goku black is real saiyan than obviously the saiyan race is not erased by killing Trunks.
So therefore Goku black is not a real part of the saiyan race.
