[Theory] Goku Black timeplothole in anime compared to manga

In the manga of dragonball super is probably not a timeplothole like in the anime.

In the manga, the chain of events that leads to the creation of Goku Black is not set in motion by Trunks,
but by a meeting between Supreme kai of universe 7 + Kibito and Gowasu the supreme kai of universe 10 and Zamasu.
Zamasu complements them of eliminating Majin Buu and Uni7supreme kai mentions it wouldnt have worked
without the help of Goku and how there are mortals who's power exceeds Gods like Kais, but that there is no mortal who's power exceeds the God of destruction.

In the manga, Goku and Zamasu wont spar like they did in the anime.

The manga hasnt caught up to the anime yet, but this is a significant difference that opens solutions
to not have the anime timeplothole in the manga.

In the manga Goku Black can be created without Trunks having gone back in time to the mainshow timeline,
to ask for help to battle vs Goku Black.

Whereas in the anime is a timeplothole.
In the anime the creation of Goku Black is set in motion because of Trunks going to the past to ask for help in fighting Goku Black.
But that is a plothole. As the chain of events that leads to the creation of Goku Black in the anime,
is Trunks going to the past to warn about Goku Black. Yet he was already fighting Goku Black.

In the manga however, this plothole is not there.

The manga seems more solid story wise.

Goku doesnt use Kaioken+SSJBlue in there either vs Hit.
He fights him in SSJBlue eventually.

Vegeta still loses, but looks a lot better in his loss.
It is explained that Vegeta burned a lot of stamina by Showing SSJblue vs Kabba and reentering SSJblue vs Hit.
Resulting in a lower power lvl remaining vs Hit.
And if your power lvl is higher than hit, the timeleap duration is reduced.
But due to Vegeta his stamina burning, he couldnt overcome the timeleap.
However Vegeta cared a lot about helping Kabba and showing SSJBlue to Kabba.
Thus he risked fighting Hit with a lower remaining power lvl. Which cost him the match.
As he couldnt battle timeleap enough, because of this.

Anime timeplothole could have been avoided in at least 2 ways.

Option 1:
Doing it the same as the manga.

Option 2:
Making Goku Black NOT knowing about sparring vs Goku on the universe 10 Kai planet.
That way he could have been a different timeline Zamasu who turned into Goku Black.

Why?

Than they could have made it as follows:
Trunks goes back in time to the mainshow timeline and tells about Goku Black.
This going back in time will create an alternative timeline (one where Trunks visits and tells about Goku black and one where he doesnt).
In the timeline without Trunks, Goku Black is created like in the manga and does what he did (including taking Goku's body, killing Chichi and Goten, going to Trunks his timeline etc..
In the timeline where Trunks visits, everything happens like in the anime, Zamasu is killed and Goku Black creation prevented. The Goku Black that they fight in the anime is from a timeline where Trunks didnt visit.

However the anime made the mistake of Goku Black making a comment to Goku about fighting Goku on the Universe 10 kai planet. Meaning he is from the same timeline. The sparring vs Goku on the universe 10 kai planet also played a big part the chain of events of becoming Goku Black.
Yet Trunks was already fighting that same Goku Black, before Trunks went back to the mainshow timeline. That creates the plothole in the anime.

Yeah and I am really happy for that.
Really enthusiastic about Dragon ball super so far but this timeplothole kinda puts a little bit of dirt on the anime series for me.
The SSJblue Kaioken did as well, as that just causes issues later on.

The manga version without it was a lot better.

Glad to see the manga version being more polished.

In the anime it is a plothole.

As said, Goku Black talks to Goku about their fight on the universe 10 Kai planet, when Goku, Vegeta and Trunks are fighting with Goku Black in Trunks his timeline.
Meaning the anime Goku Black is from the same timeline as the one where Trunks went for help from Goku and Vegeta. Otherwise he cant talk about that fight on the universe 10 kai planet.

In the manga, Goku Black is not from that timeline.

On both the manga and the anime they watch Kamitube btw.

Please read carefully what I say, as I have said it in my opening post and in my reply to you already.

In the anime, Goku Bllack talks about their fight (Goku vs Zamasu apparentice) on the universe 10 kai planet.
He talks about it when Goku, Vegeta and Trunks are in Trunks his time to fight Black.
This is a mistake in the anime as it leads to a plothole.
Because if Goku Black is the same Zamasu that fought with Goku on the universe 10 kai planet, than it means he is from the same timeline, even though he isnt suppose to be.

He is suppose to be from an alternative timeline where Trunks didnt visit about Black.
He is suppose to be this, in both the anime and the manga.

But the anime messed up, as explained. They should not have Goku Black make a reference to the sparring fight on universe 10 between Goku and Goku Black (when he was still Zamasu).

BOTH Option is invalid because Black already had a flashback which took place in Universe 10 Kiao realm when he had fought Goku.

Anyway here is the Official Chart of Toei explaining the Timeline of DBS. Everything starts at the very right side column and there are Huge Blank Space. This tells me that Goku meeting Zamasu for different reason would be the only explanation because the history was the established which was already been written after all Future trunk time travel causes the butterfly effect during the android saga .


Black Timeline is the original and Our timeline (DBS) has been altered.
Which bring us to the question, in the original timeline how did goku met zamasu before becoming black doing causing and effect?

This would lead me to believe that if we follow by the manga, it would make more sense because Our supreme Kai Universe 7 visited Universe 10 when Kibito had fought/trained with Zamasu and Shin of the supreme kia was the one to informed Zamasu about Goku with the whole majin buu incident which might lead to the sparring with Goku.

This would lead the invitation of Goku to meet Zamasu in Universe 10.

Thus it would trigger Zamasu to pursue his zero mortal plan, so he killed Gowasu first take the potaru earring and the time ring, use the super dragon ball to switch body with Goku and killed him, use the timering to go to future timeline which he had met future zamasu and eliminated humans which prompt trunks to use the time machine to go back to the past.
Future trunks altered the time to go back to where everything that takes place before Goku meet zamasu which created time paradox.

I think having both anime and manga is great. If we just go by the manga, then is misses a lot of cool things that the anime does show.
