This jutsu can clean an entire Battelfield composed of fodders Ninja. Basically a classic naruto battlefield. It's obivous, but Hashirama himself said to the Alliance to stay away from the explosion.

Tobirama used this jutsu with Edo Tensei. He send kamikaze zombies explose themselves.

Here Tobirama used exceptionally his own body, so we have just one big explosion. But basically he used some Edo Tensei zombies. Now imagine not only one, but three or four big explosion on the battlefield....

This is why Tobirama decided to put Edo Tensei in the forbidden parchment. He thought that one day, a shinobi from Konoha would be worthy to learn Edo Tensei + Gojo Kibakufuda in order to give to Konoha a strategic weapon in case of emergency. Orochimaru could have been this one, if he stayed good...

The only problem with this technique is that if he uses weak characters for his undead, then any good opponent can outrun them or position themselves close to 2nd HK in order to avoid any damage.

Otherwise, that entire 2nd generation of kage developed powerful techniques. Nice post

You're right, high level shinobi can avoid it. This jutsu is more like a fodders killer, perfect to destroy an entire army of fodders. The way Hiruzen reacted when Tobirama was preparing his technique, show how terrible was this jutsu.
