TIME TO WAKE UP SLACKER! *A gust of wind appears out of nowhere and the next thing you know is that I am behind you with cotton candy and a pinwheel*

Howdy! Err, I mean wussup, um, I mean welcome to wind class how are you? Tell me everything you know about fuuton. Also I'd appreciate if you tell me your likes, dislikes, and dreams. I'll start. I like getting caught in the rain, I dislike catching colds, and I dream of winning the lottery..wait...I won the first NB lottery grandprize soooooo check *fist pump* alright. xD

As I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes I would reply to my sempai questions:

Fuuton(wind) is 1 of the basic 5 elements in the narutoverse its a force of nature its has its own mood sometimes calm and sometimes destructive. The element is very unpredictable because of its ability to change instantly.

Wind is strong against lightning because wind is and insulator to lightning when wind is combined or opposed with one another the wind will break the lightning into smaller molecules making it weaker

Wind is weak against fire because wind fuels fire wit its oxygen properties enhancing it and making it strong

A little bout me:
I'm a big gaming fanatic 1 of my likes. My dislikes I hate boring people. My goals rite now let me see get myself a house on the beach front.

The wind element is indeed a very versatile element and can be extremely useful. It can be used in conjunction with water, fire, and even earth. (Some have found ways to incorporate it with Raiton techs) I've always felt it was a well balanced element in the sense that it can be used for defense, offense, and supplementary use without being so drawn to one kind of style. (Ex. Fire is primarily an offensive element.) Some even use wind to fly which can be extremely useful in the right hands. While wind does fuel the fire if they collide going in opposite directions then the fire will also be weakened. Now think about some of the elements in the NW. Some techniques require that you use a medium; however, with wind your medium will always be present as air is always around you and even in you for that matter. You won't have to worry about using a particular source for wind style techniques very much. It is a nice thing to master in the RP especially for new comers. Gives ya some balance.
Strengths and Weaknesses

Nice to know you got the basics down. Wind insulates lightning and gets overtaken by fire. What you want a cookie...here ya go *hands you oatmeal raisin cookie* good job, but there are a lot more to a single element. Basics is where it all starts no matter how cliché it sounds. Wind is weak to Ice, Dark's absorption and release ability, Blast, and Dust. Wind is strong to Sound, Steam, Rain, and Storm. You can also easily combine many wind techniques with fire to create destructive fire attacks. You can combine this with water to add to its destructive force, or you can add to the damage or force an earth attack brings by again adding wind. Pretty useful if you ask me.

THATS NICE AND ALL BUT WHAT CAN IT DO?
As I've said before you can fly, help maneauver your body while in midair, control objects like kunai and shuriken, it can cut real deep as if it was a steel knife, blow large objects away, push away annoying mists/clouds. With the right knowledge and mind it can pretty much do what you want it to do.^^

CONCLUSION

This my friend is the ever changing wind element and you are going to have to focus like a grandma knitting a sweater for her grandchildren before Christmas if you want to master it without any casualties....Now if you will just sign this form stating I am not liable for any injuries or damage we can begin. I rented a cruise ship/boat...whatever, it was some luxury floating thing they have in this world and I got it for us. xD. We can walk there as we discuss the element I am training you in. Gotta say I like your goal...make sure to take me with you. ^^

As you can see I am relatively young compared to some of the other teachers around here but I think you will enjoy my methods...and sometimes you will think I have a mental disorder but there is ALWAYS A METHOD TO MY MADNESS HAHAHAHAHA, but I promise you I am stable. First things first we need to get that wind chakra of yours to come out of hiding so take this chakra paper. If it kinda bugs out, give it a slight tap....I got it from Ninja Dollar so it isn't actually A-grade material. 0_0. *we stop for a moment* feel that breeze around us. Become one with the wind and try to channel your Fuuton chakra into that paper and describe what happens to the paper when you're successful. When you're finished tell me one thing you find the best about wind and the one thing you find as the worst thing about wind. If you have any questions feel free to ask and then we will continue

As he felt the breeze against his face he closed his eyes (a fly bumps into his face)

NO real right or wrong answer, I just wanted your personal opinion. You could have answered that anyway you wanted to. For me the best thing about wind is how comforting it is when a slight breeze comes across your face as you stare out into space, the worst thing is its destructive potential as that slight breeze turns into n uncontrollable maelstrom that rips everything in its path to pieces. Now lets take a look at this ship.

Uses: How could this jutsu be used and in what situations would you have to use it, creative uses, any uses outside of battle any uses outside of attacking?
The number one thing of effectively using a jutsu is knowing the right time to use them. You will see as we continue that all of these jutsus are of the wind element but they cannot all be used in the same situation, for the same purposes. Having an A rank jutsu is useless if you don’t know how and when to use it.
Counters: Specifically how would you counter this jutsu, and name drawbacks of this jutsu
Strange huh learning a counter to your jutsu but if you know what the drawbacks of your own jutsu are you can effectively prepare to cover that drawback with other strategies and you can predict opponents nexts moves preparing appropriate strategies ahead of time. Think of specific jutsu counters if you can but for D ranks since a multitude of things can counter it you may list generic drawbacks as well.
Combinations: Specific combinations including this jutsu if you can.
As you know you can perform 3 jutsus per turn. I doubt you will just be sending this one jutsu out and leave yourself open to combination attacks so this will help you develop a base for what works and what doesn’t work with this jutsu. You are just starting you might know a lot of specific jutsu, but try to incorporate specifics if you can.

Admittedly I picked this one up from NK sensei (when he was sensei). I like this because it will develop your thoughts on your fighting style. You will have an affinity to use some jutsus more than others that is just a fact. I want you to rate from 1-10 based on how much YOU like this jutsu. Just because it is S rank does not mean it will get a 9 or 10 or that you will even like using it, what matters is if you are comfortable using it in your style of fighting so rate it and tell me why you gave it that rating.

I am not licensed but *pulls out captain hat and eye patch. Lights cigar.* now I'm licensed. All aboard the S.S Certain Death err Fairy's Dream...yeah lets go with that. Okay lets get going *using a kunai infused with wind chakra I cut the rope tied to an anchor* I'll unfurl the sails and I want you to blow some air into them. I will also use the same technique to help us get moving.

There should be enough of those sediments around here as it seems the people who owned this ship did not care too much about being clean.0_0. This might be able to take care of some of those things on the outside of the ship.

As my sempai drops the ships sails down I gather my raw chakra throughout my entire body I then would Infuse it with wind nature transformation with the two combined I would channel the chakra to my mouth unleashing a small stream of wind towards the sails of the ship, enough to fill the sails and get the ship moving

on our way captain sempai that makes no sense but what the heck. If you the captain then I'll be your second in command.

Uses: outside of battle it can be used to cool you down on a hot summer day or to give oxygen to a fire on a cold winters night.

Counters: for this technique I would counter it with a fire technique that would combine and follow through, that being said as the wind would be eliminated and the fire technique would

Combinations: as the best combo technique would be fire, as the technique is a d-rank a fire technique with the same rank that would increase the jutsu by one rank higher.

Rating:8 because a basic technique is the most important part of the element usage,and it goes good with combo techniques

So let's clean this ship up a bit:

As I gather my chakra together with wind nature transformation I would channel my chakra and layer my surrounding to accumulate the sand and dust and then manipulate the wind in a blast motion, I move around the ship ripping the barnacle,algae and what ever else sticking to the ship.

Uses: its a good jutsu for cleaning or removing stuff off of surfaces

Counter: I'll use the earth wall technique because it would stop the flow of the wind and protect me and my flesh being ripped of.

Combination:I would use a sand jutsu to make the sand blast even stronger it would increase the amount of sand in the process and cause greater damage.
Rating. 5 because its a complicated technique having to gather the dust and sand it a time delay.

OOC-hope I got your temp right 1st time using something like that for training

OOC: Its all good. I wil give an overview of the techs which should contain anything you missed. I'd say the only extra thing you need is to also think of in battle uses (creative battle uses preferred but I understand there are straight forward techs so in that case don't worry about it)

OVERVIEW:
You did good. Don't overthink it or worry about disappointing me. I am here to teach and if you already knew everything then my job would be dull and pointless. xD. I'm cool and everyone has different levels so keep up the good work and don't be afraid/worried to be wrong or ask questions. ^^ Now since you stated outside of battle use I will tell you some in battle methods. I see you used your mouth to create the wind. There might be situations where you would want to use the limb version of the technique such as if you are surrounded by harmful smoke/poisonous gases. It would be hard to inhale/breathe to create a wind jutsu that way so it would b best to use the limb application. If you were in a close a ranged fight and wanted to incorporate it into taijutsu then gthe limb method would also be the best choice. It is fairl quick so it can be used to defend from weak attacks in a pinch. I'm iffy on the outside battle use to fuel a fire...depends on how big the fire is. (the relationship is weird. xD) A stationary fire can be fueled by wind (ex people blow on the burning sticks to get the fire going), but things like candles are put out by blowing on them. LOL. Depending on several ciccumstances you might actually put the fire out. A d rank jutsu is still a jutsu and should be used with caution. (If you learn Katon you will be able to create fire anytime. ^^). Everything else looks good. Don't forget that wind and water work just as well as wind and fire. Wind and earth can be combined as well.

2nd jutsu-Yea we got rid of most of those barnacles. Now a reason why this tech could be useless is if you were fighting in Amegakure. The ground is practically steel. I doubt much dust could be used for cover or damage so I wouldn't advise it. In a desert this could be very successful. The dust covered area could cause people to lose their footing as it accumulates on the ground and trees. When using an earth wall do not forget that you can't see your opponent(unless you got sensory, byakugan, etc. So if you use one to defend yourself be sure you have a quick counter attack planned or a way to see the next attack heading your way. Good thing is the opponent can't see you either.

After you sandblasted the place you accidently hit a crate that fell on a board that catapulted random kunai that then crashed into a jar of pickled eggs that flipped up and toward you.

"Create a wall of slicing wind in front of to stop those eggs and knock em off this ship. @_@"

Once you've finished I notice there is a lot of sand on the ship from your jutsu from earlier. I use a pretty powerful jutsu that blows it all away but...It accidently blows you off the ship too. 0_0 (sorry) As you fall down you see an alligator open its mouth to eat you. Use your quick thinking and perform the jutsu to help you change your position mid air. Blow a quick gust out of your mouth so you can land back on the ship. xD

As nogetsune sempai told him bout this stubborn crab he thought to himself why this crab was here in the first place I could not be second choice to a crab as his sempai's attention was not on the both of them he approached the crab from behind:

I've got you now Scorps, Sennin Goroshi!!!

As he turns his attention to the kunai's that hit the jar of pickled eggs, the pickle eggs that was now approaching him gathering my chakra together with my wind nature transformation,lifting my hands towards the eggs I would channel my chakra to my hand releasing a wall of will in front of me and the wind had a spinning/rotational movement,as the wind made contact with the eggs it sliced it into several pieces.

breakfast is served,don't you think its about time

As the wind slices the pickled eggs it knocks it over board

sorry sempai,uhm just thought.......... How bout some scorps, I mean crab.

User: in a battle it would be a great defense tech stopping or diverting weapons and even some jutsus like sand or lightning jutsus.

Outside of battle: as for the rotational and slicing properties you could use it to trim the hedges or mow the lawn

Counters:n/a its a defence tech unless I was approaching my opponent then use a B-rank lightning tech called Raging Thunder it consist of a lightning half shape dome that has a forward momentum.

Combanations:I would use a water that I would combine into the wind causing a rapid vortex which could be destructive.

Rating:8/10 becase it a great defence tech but the tech leave back open for attack because you busy concentrating your chakra forward.

As I was busy choking scorps I felt a powerful wind,and it knocked me overboard as I turn to where it came from I saw my sempai use a powerful wind jutsu.

why sempai why!!!

As I was falling I noticed an alligator in the water waiting patiently for me with my chakra gathered together with my wind nature transformation,with my chakra channeled to my mouth, I blew a gust of wind from my mouth downwards to boost myself, and land back on ship deck.

phew I almost became breakfast

User: in a battle the obvious use would be to evade attacks as it move you instantly I mid-air.

Outside of battle:it could be a means of transportation

Combinations: I would use it together with taijustu especially In mid-air. I would give you an advantage

Rating:10/10 the jutsu can be used in many ways and means. Its evading capabilities are just awesome.

OVERVIEW: Yea the first jutsu is great for defense, but only for incoming attacks. It is only reasonable for defense against low ranked or unranked attacks, but In the case of kunai and shuriken you can easily counter those things with your own kunai without wasting chakra for it so I normal don’t use this. If thos kunai have tags attached to them then they will be activated due to the slicing properties of the wind. I can be used as a deterrent for close ranged fighters who are charging. For the second jutsu it is a favorite amongst RP’ers when avoiding attacks. Of course don’t try this against large scaled attacks but if you are interlocked in battle whilst in the air it is useful. I hardly use the dust version of the tech because this can be achieved via smoke bombs or flashbombs.

We doc at an unhabitated area and I began soaking in the sun as you wash all the dirty clothes. xD. Scorps comes to me and then I gain a worried look on my face. Ummmm Scorps tells me we are in trouble. This is the headquartes of the infamous gang Cancer. Scorps used to be part of it and it looks like…well they are already here. Look at this as an opportunity. You and Scorps fight them while I eat lunch. :). Maybe you’ll learn some new techs by pushing your physical limits and mental creativity.

As the henchman approached me I gather my raw chakra throughout my entire together with my wind nature transformation, with my wind based chakra gathered, I would channel it to my mouth releasing a gale force wind lifting the rocks in its path,as wind makes contact with the henchmen the wind blew them in the air and the rocks cause the damage to in the process.

ok know that the kids are put to sleep let's start the fun.
Kaos then reached in his poach retrieving a kunai and throwing it I'm my direction,I then quickly replaced myself with the pile of rocks, then re appearing about 10 meters behind kaos, with my raw chakra transformed into wind based chakra I rip a kunai from my waist, launching it towards kaos's back seconds after I clapped my hands releasing a blast of wind following the kunai increasing the speed and power of the kunai make it harder to evade and it would cause greater damage.

Users:1st tech would be good for clearing out area like rubble,dirt or leaves etc whereby everything in your way would be removed or shifted. Depending on the weight.

2nd tech can be used for momentum or means of transportation because of its strength.

Counters: 1st tech I would use an earth tech or formation that would return the Wind and rocks towards the user

2nd the best way I think to is to avoid the tech totally because there is a weapon involved. So. You could use change of body stance or something similar.

OVERVIEW: The first technique is interesting because it introduces the fact that wind and earth can be used in conjunction with each other. Wind and fire/water are usually the ones combined with each other, but try to remember that earth can be combined as well. It is relativel weak but the enemy will most likely use a fire attack to stop this attack. You will have to use this in a rocky terrain in order to get enough rocks to cause damage. I really like the second jutsu because you take something as normal as a kunai and make it extremely lethal. Now it can easily be dodged depending on how it used. It can be used to knock over a person if you don't use it with a projectile.

As the ship sailed from shore,Kaos and his army followed on the ship behind.

Scorp:they have hooked us, somebody do some thing!!!

Scorps had a fear of hooks,as I saw the hooks about 5 of them hooked to the ship and Kaos and his men where pulling the two ships closer to each other.

Gathering my chakra throughout my entire body infuse it with nature transformation, I grabbed the windmill shuriken from Scorps, because I did not have 1, channeling my chakra into my right hand and into the shuriken, with a rotating motion of my body I swing the shuriken and launch it towards the ropes.

1 by 1 cutting the ropes so that the ship would be free, and would allow to sail further from Kaos and his gang.

full speed ahead captain.

As we where sailing we heard a voice coming from the back of the ship

User:1st jutsu you can be used to cheat in a dart game by manipulating the dart with your wind chakra.

2nd can be used to start a lumber company by cutting down trees with ease.

Combination: 1st tech I would use a clone tech to make the jutsu more destructive.

2nd I would set the trees on fire with a fire jutsu fueling the fire when you use the wind tech.

Counters: 1st tech any jutsu that could deflect the weapon that is thrown e.g if its a kunia then you you oppose it with another kunai.

2nd I'll use a earth jutsu to knock the tree back in the direction of the user

Ratings: 1st 10/10 just becase I love fighting with weapons. Weapons shows character

2nd 5/10 to much effort. To much things you must consider before you use the jutsu. Like your opponents position and movements. Is the trees around you etc.

DICLAIMER: All the characters in this thread are independent bodies from actual people on this base. They just so happen to share the same names because of my/our lack of creativity or work ethic to actually think of original names...this is easier...and funnier.

OVERVIEW: Now I noticed some things. For the second jutsu don't get caught up with the tree. It is just something to give you an idea on how powerful it is. It has the ability to knock down a large tree, but the technique itsel can be used on its own or on other things. If you are in a forest then ou would have to watch out for the possibilites of trees boxing you in, crushing you, obstructing your vision, but as I said don't focus solely on that. I do like the fact that you would combine this with fire to actually create a burning tree (should their be one). Good creative thinking. Its drawbacks are that it only attacks what is in your line of sight so this would be a bad move against attacks coming from multiple directions. It's normal counter is of course fire D rank Katon and above. Make sure it is an appropriate move because size,situation, direction, and the nature of techniques come into play when countering. In all jutsus you have to consider an opponents positions and movements, and against great opponents this becomes more important than it already is. You even have to consider you movements as well. I believe you got stuck on the tree part, but you don't have to worry about that as I have already explained above.
For the 1st jutsu (i know I went out of order) It takes something as normal as a regular kunai and makes it extremely lethal. Now because it is applied to a projectile weapon does not mean that this can be countered with a projectile weapon. It is now stronger than the former unranked projectile it was before so any regular projectile thrown at it will simply be run through. You would have to use a similar attack or another jutsu to stop it. I would like you to elaborate on how you would make it more destructive with a clone tech as well. You can put the explanation at the top of your next post.

For the clone question I'm a little stuck I have no idea how to go about using a clone.

As I stand amongst the crowd chatting to Lili I see my sempai pointing to me,with a shock impression on my face I whisper to my sempai

So that the crowd would give way even faster,we make I way back to the ship and set a sail.

Users:1st tech I would use this jutsu to move very heavy objects, so that I use less strength and more technique.

2nd wind give oxygen to the fire so I would use it to make large fire. Like for braai-ing/ barberque a very large 1 lol

Combinations:1st tech I would use a jutsu that would harm the opponent from behind as soon as his push back like spike whether its earth,ice or steel etc.

2nd tech I would use mobile core drop the floor under my opponent enclosing my opponent and the performing the tech with inside the hole.

Rating:10/10 for strength and speed for the 1st tech could be used for a great combo tech

2nd 5/10 for the time you have to take to perform the tech but I think is combination qualities are good,and it only take 1 of your move slots

OVERVIEW: For the 1st technique it is pretty straightforward. You are blowing a sphere of air. It is rather basic and can be countred fairly easily. (i.e fire jutsu or moving to long range. Defensive doton jutsus work well also.) As with a lot of wind jutsu you can blow objects back along with it. If the opponent is trying to bear down upon you and it makes you uncomfortable you can blow them back with this.
Now the second technique is also slightly basic in its description. Its real use is when it is combined with fire but do not forget you are not limited to that combination. You may try to combine it with an appropriate Suiton jutsu but remember it is only used up to short range.

Hey I think you pissed Lili off....it looks like she is going to attack you from behind. When she launches her wind attack you manipulate the air with your Fuuton chakra and make it razor sharp through manipulation. Launch this manipulate wind to divide the low rank wind technique she is about to kill you with. Use the C rank version.
