If it's done right, people won't complain. Sure there's that small bunch that will always complain but this movie was just overrated/terrible. It was better than the 1998 one but on it's own it wasn't that great. Man the new x-men movie would of been a lot better than this but I'll save that for another discussion. I'm not just counting the whole "mothra" stuff as a con, there was many cons to the movie. It was terribly paced and the acting was pretty mediocre. Only Bryan Cranston was the good actor there but he died off pretty early on. There was so much more that was wrong with this movie but it had a few pros. However the cons outweighed the pros at the end. They did just pull it out of their asses. Who the hell wants to watch a remake? How do you think the kaiju come into existence in the series anyways? They just make them up. Throughout the whole entire series of Godzilla, they just make up new creatures. People will find a reason to hate anything.
Keep the same thing; "It's way too repetitive! This sucks!"
Stay original and new; "Why can't they go back to their roots! This sucks!"
It was poorly done.It was ok to watch but by no means a great movie, sub-par in most aspects (directing, story, acting (except Cranston and Watanabe, who weren't given much to do anyway)), good for entertainment, classic hollywood
Lol I noticed that a lot of girls enjoyed it for some reason.I liked it .-.
