I was very surprised to see the God Tree still being there this whole time. You can see it on the last page of the 657th chapter. Am I the only one who thought it disappeared after the Bijuu were pulled out of Obito?

EDIT: Just remembered there were also a few panels with Naruto shooting off a Rasen-Shuriken of the God Tree. Still, isn't it odd that it's still there despite the Bijuu being free? Can the Mugen Tsukuyomi still be cast from the Gedo Mazo alone?

Yes you were. I can even remember a big Rasen Shuriken being formed on the top of the tree after the bijuu were extracted.

Lol

Oh lol, yeah I completely forgot about that. Well okay, but isn't it a surprise that the God Tree is still there despite the Bijuu being free?

The thing is.. The Bijuu's are all creatures of pure chakra, while the God Tree is a being of natural and physical material. Which means, even though the Juubi is gone, the tree is still there. Its like smashing the original spot of a tree's growth, the tree would still stand.

So what was the point of the whole series if the God Tree doesn't require Bijuu? Why go through 655+ chapters to steal 9 Bijuu when you already had the Gedo Mazo / God Tree which makes the Tsukuyomi work anyway.

F*ck logic.
