God Tree afraid of Sasuke?

He was just lucky.

I'm not going to wank him and say that the tree was afraid, but I'm not going to blindly bash him either. Lets be real here: It's not because his chakra is weak or that he doesn't have enough. Sasuke has a fairly large chakra pool, he ain't Itachi. And his chakra strength is very, very strong. Both have been shown and noted throughout the manga.

God Tree realized how fodder everyone's chakra (Sasuke's) is compared to Naruto.

Sasuke looks to be at a safe distance from the tree, those who got caught by the tree were a bit too close. That could be a reason the tree didn't go after Sasuke, or anyone else behind him.
