Kekkai Sensen & BEYOND (Season 2)'s first episode is out and it's so hype. It has the style/comedy of season 1 still and that god like animation. Plus that soundtrack was incredible.

Nakamura went ape shit with the animation:

Other top animation moments in the episode

Still planning to watch the first season of this damn anime even tho I dropped it two times now.
I mean, everything is on point about this anime: character design, animation, music, voice actors did a great job, it's just that plot makes me push it away.

Ah, good animation really needs to be appreciated so much and studios like Bones, Madhouse, Manglobe and MAPPA are for sure gods of animation.

Oh, check out Garo: Vanishing Line.

Just watched it and i'm happy it follows the style of s1. The craziness, comedy and action was so well mixed that i hope they won't change it in s2.

The animation was on point like before and i can't wait for the awesome ost's to come out.

The plot isn't the big appeal. It's there but gets slowly developed along the way, for season 1, it was a bit of mess near the finale but still good. I think you're going in with the wrong expectations.

It's more focused on the comedy/characters/interactions/soundtrack. Give it another try and don't look too much into the plot since that's not the big factor.

Season 2 follows the manga a lot more and was a great adaptation so far with the first episode.

Not a lot "god tier" animation this episode but I suppose this will be the Kekkai Sensen discussion thread.

I can't even stress how pleased I am with the second season. A lot of people, including myself, were doubtful of the new director change but I'm kinda happy it happened. Rie Matsumoto's directing for the finale was convoluted and an anime original but this season is a lot more faithful to the manga, it'll be my fav. anime of the year if it remains that way.

That's back to back episodes on Chain Sumeragi holy. :hyper::hyper:
