[Discussion] God Serena's true identity and motives

Today i went through Fairy Tail zero and had a sudden revelation...How come two people separated by 100 years look exactly alike...yups and those two are God Serena and YUri (Makarov's father). Is there a possibility serena is related to Yuri or he infact is Yuri himself. He was only believed to have died there hasn't been sufficient proof of his death.
After all why did God Serena suddenly betray Ishgar......? If he is indeed Yuri is he still trying to fulfill his promise to Mavis??? What do you guys think about this one?

Not this again. The moment Serena was shown, people hopped on the Serena is Yuri bandwagon, but seriously Makarov knows Serena. Do you really think he can't recognize his own father? Or that Warrod can't recognize his life long friend?

The only thing they have in common is a moderate resemblance in looks and that's really not much to support the whole Yuri is Serena theory.
