I may show lenience to a non-fundamentalist Christian who takes an interpretive approach to his religion such as yourself but I refuse to allow e.g. a Muslim who believes that the Quran is the literal word of some God to use this sort of philosophical prevarication to justify that wretched religion.

I will not listen to the Kalam argument unless you can give me a satisfactory answer as to why the word of God, supposedly written by Allah sitting on his throne on water before creating the universe, contains in it the injunction that it was ok for Mohamed to marry the wife of his step-son.

Well that would mean 1 stalemate: One can't refute Kalam and can't justify non godly acts from a godly being
