From this scan we can occur that Itachi's was the first one to strike CT, did it explode? No, it took the combined might of all three attacks to destroy it. Your argument is invalid

Edit: Chibaku Tensei was never destroyed twice. Naruto just magically appeared out of it (plot)

Bottom left looks like clash. next page looks like the explosion. I don't know where you saw that 1 attack hit first and CT didn't explode.

Common sense is what you lack. If the 8 tails couldn't break it, how would Naruto? CT was not destroyed as he was standing below the rock looking at Nagato. Naruto never stopped CT, plot no jutsu allowed him to escape it

So I asked myself, since you are this kind and offer me to check out your thread on how can Nagato take Itachi, the only proper answer to that is to disagree with you in some way, I had to put myself in the role of Itachi defender, which wasn't so difficult since I really like Itachi, he's in my top five fav. I would analyse any possibility Itachi could counter this combo, and than it struck me, Itachi could take six paths of Pain but Nagato can use his all powers at the same time, we can see that in his fight with Naruto and Bee. Nagato is at the same time pulling Naruto's soul and changing his body into weapon. If he can, and I believe he can pull Chibaku Tensei and Shinra Tensei at the same time, or just fast one after another, Itachi's done. There's no way he can counter it.

The only thing I could have against is fight conditions and distance. If Itachi is close enough to hit Nagato with Tsukuyomi, he can own Nagato, there's nothing in the manga that would state otherwise.

How's that for an answer???

Nagato will defeat Itachi in one-on-one, but it won't be that simple. Itachi's Susanoo maybe will protect him from Shinra Tensei, and he can use Yasaka Magatama to destroy or at least weaken (because he was supported by Bijuu Dama and Rasenshuriken when he destroyed it in the first place) the Chibaku Tensei. It would've been very interesting indeed, if we were to see direct battle of those two, but now it's impossible.
