1. no he is not always handed power ups (sometimes but rarely he is) naruto has actually worked for everything. his senin mode? trained. his bijuu mode? years of dealing with kurama. getting the kyuubi mode? fought the damn nine tails with help from his mother.
2 FALSE naturally naruto is actually more or less drawing on his own chakra. his Uzuamki blood line gives him extreme amounts of chakra and the fact of the matter is... people that are saying this need to take a look at the follwing characters. also there is still senin mode which easily handled 5 of the six paths of pain. he can still take on bijuu with it (Kurama battle for reference, if he was not after the chakra he would've won straight out)
Madara (without EMS or MS he would not have the extreme power of the susanno he posses and without rinnegan not able to summon meteors but would still be a worthy foe)
Sasuke (Without sharingan most of his abilites is gone, and some of his strongest attacks)
Nagato (Without rinnegan there is little to nothing he has. most of abilities are centered around rinnegan)
Harishima (without wood release he would have little to nothing, his entire jutsu plot is based around the wood release)

Naruto is not a true shinobi but is a TRUE AND VERY GREAT HERO if he was a true shinobi he would've actually followed all his orders and killed anyone and everyone that got in the way of the goal and abandoned friends if the need presents itself, and even leave behind comrades if it would hinder the mission.
Naruto in my mind is the greatest hero.
He is the one that will break any and all known limits. Juubi is a limited deity, for he hath been defeated so in the end Naruto will break his limit and beyond.

EHHHHHHHH! Kurama malice can be receded, however it would have to present itself purely and not mixed in. Naruto bijuu mode is the embodiment of the perfect mix. if even Harishima could would you think Naruto would not counter it? or attempt to stop the process? it also requires Harishima to stand still so.... one bijuu dama and it is done or one giant rasenshurken
