Meh, like I had already said, not all atheists are remotely logical, and follow the Big Bang Theory.
But as things stand now, something as ridiculous as the Big Bang Theory holds more proof than God himself.
If we wanna talk about contradictions, they both have them, but looking on God's part, the Bible, you'd regret bringing them up.

Either way, people believe different things, belief at the end of the day is trust towards something.

Now who do you have more trust for, Tommy who is said to have impregnated a virgin without actually getting it on, and having his son and a group of others write of how he magically created the universe, and that he has no physical shape or form.
Or do you trust Billy who says he was made overtime by many, many scientists contributing to him, also he somehow exploded when there was nothing to explode.

This seems ignorant, but I don't believe most people care to look into this deeply either, do they?

If you claim an extreme on either end of the Religious or Atheist spectrum, then you're wrong. There is simply not enough evidence to support either. If you want to believe it then that is fine but don't make a claim that is incorrect.

Read the BOLD again (not consistent). He only expressed his beliefs/thoughts (true/fact in his opinion).

OT : interesting.

No, the reason why most scientists and atheist don't believe in such a thing is because there's zero evidence for it.
The same scientist that believes there's parallel universes or "alternate universes"?
The same people that believes in the evolution theory and how nothing caused the Big Bang?
The same scientist that believe a super computer created us?

I'm sure that if scientist can have such beliefs after over thinking on what they observer ,then others believing in a god after observing should be all right.

How can I be wrong if there's no way to disprove me?

It is really quite simple. Whether a god exists or not, is literally IMPOSSIBLE to prove or disprove.
True, but what possible is, is to disprove "known/named" deities, most of which have been disproved thorough history. So even if "a" deity can't be proven nor disproved, "the" deities can and have been. Who believes in Zeus today anyway? Yet many did back in the day and "knew" that he definitely exists, just like today many "know" that JHVH or Allah exist. In 100-200 years, few will believe in JHVH or Allah and new religions&deities will be made up.
There is not a single scientific experiment in which we are capable of to test for a gods existance. That is because a god by definition is SUPERNATURAL. Which means it interacts and exists outside the realms of our reality. Atheists no matter how much they may want or say otherwise cannot scientifically disprove the existance of god. And religious people cannot scientifically prove the existance of god.
In my opinion something being supernatural by definition disproves itself, since supernatural doesn't exist since that which defy the laws of the universe can't exist and that which follows them by definition isn't supernatural but natural. Therefore the only way for deities to exist is if they are natural, in which case they would have to obey the same laws as we do, which would make me question their godhood. Shortly, supernatural is contradictory in itself. If gods and goddesses exist and they created the universe and all the laws of physics that govern it, being omnipotent, can they create a boulder that even for them is impossible to lift? Omnipotence is paradoxical, enough evidence for me against God.

For example, the THEORY of evolution, that all life essentially originated from a single organism, and that animals such as dinosaurs mutated over time to become entirely new species such as birds, could very easily and rationally be explained by a god who chooses to shape the animals over time, by introducing gradual rare benefical mutations.
I notice that you highlighted theory, so I suppose you may be one of the many confused. The world theory doesn't have the same definition in scientific usage as it has in common talk. In common talk, theory is often used to mean a guess or a hypothesis. While in science a theory is an explanation for phenomena supported by evidence. If there's lots of evidence for a theory, it's no different from a fact. So a theory of evolution are a set of explanations for the phenomenon of evolution, which isn't just maybe, it's a known and observable fact, there's literary zero doubt that evolution is true.
The fact that the earth just so happens to be in a perfect place around the sun, and that the sun happens to be a perfect age, and perfect size to make conditions extraordinarily well suited for life, and that the earth just so happened to have the right chemical and elemental make up(essentially vast series of coincidences.)
So one could look at just how all the universe functions, and see a evidence for a god.
That's a flawed way to look at things. The majority of the known universe is hostile if not downright deadly and chaotic, that's why in those places there can't be life. The fact that we exist is simply because there happens to be an ideal place to sustain life, not because an ideal place to sustain life was created by God for us so we may exist. There's no intent or purpose, we exist not because of prestige but because if it were any other way, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Then you have the personal interaction with God. You have people who had literal conversations with God. You have God acting in supernatural ways, both big and small, with his creation. You have people who experience miracles and the such.
Simply though, I believe there is a God. I have witnessed things that should not have happened. I have seen way to many personal coincidences in my life. I have seen how he works in the lives of others. See I believe in the God of the Bible. But to talk about those things, is for a different discussion. I have my opinion and you have yours.

And we have people who see fairies and dragons float above their beds, too, I suppose they are proof that fairies and dragons exist. One person has an imaginary friend, he is a madman to be ridiculed and laughed at who should be treated by psychiatrists. Many people have the same imaginary friend, their are saints and prophets who should be respected.

The same scientist that believes there's parallel universes or "alternate universes"?

I'm sure that if scientist can have such beliefs after over thinking on what they observer ,then others believing in a god after observing should be all right.

1. That's right, believe in parallel/alternate universe, but because understood physics and mathematics allow that possibility. In other words, they can exist, if they do is unknown, hence "believe" they don't say they do. But as I said, it's a possibility unlike the existence of God which isn't supported by physics.
2. I see that you are also confused. Theory of evolution and the phenomenon of evolution itself are two different things. The former is a set of explanations for the latter. Evolution as a phenomenon is with little to no doubt a fact. It did occur, occurs and will continue to occur. Unless you think biologists are hallucinating.
3. Another confusion. Big Bang indeed did happen and it continues to happen, no doubt about that. The reason why scientists say that nothing caused it is because it caused itself, hence that the Big Bang was an uncaused cause rather than a result of an intent by a conscious entity (God).

Couldn't respond to him so you went for such a dumb and insultive argu
ent. Hilarious. Also God isn't supported by the laws of physics? Take some physics classes. So unless the scientists allow something no matter the evidence for/against you shouldn't believe it? A killer indeed.
Heck there are so many shitholes in your so called rational thinking it would take days to list them all on thiss phone of mine. You failed as soom as you claimed sience and religion oppose each other. Not to mention you know nothing about either science or religion. If you did you would know that they go hand in hand.

That doesn't make you right by default. It just simply falls into the unknown category and anyone who makes a claim of fact, is incorrect.

It's true though. Mainstream religion will not survive for more than 200 years, it's already in decline. The only way people will believe those things at the time is if World War III happens or some other catastrophe. Countries with better education have less religious population, that's because ignorance and superstition are the reason why religion exists in the first place.

This much bullshit in one comment. Wow.
First of all religion will never go extinct as it has been attacked since forever by the likes of you, since the Roman banishing through communism and now through people such as yourself who know nothing about it and hate it due to their own ignorance. Religion always had it's cross and it will keep on living. You can fantasize as much as you want.
Now to go on and prove you wrong on your basic statement that religion and science are opposing. Every greatest mind in the history of man kind b(most of them actually) believed in a creator God. Einstein, Galileo, Newton, Pascal, Tesla and so many more. Your beloved BBT was first specified by a priest. The reason why many scientists nowadays don't believe in God (many do tough) is not based on scientific research but on their own lack of belief. When asked why they don't believe they usually respond with answers that are on par with a classic rebel teen's answer wich is already proven wrong in each religion.
Next the reason why science and religion go hand in hand is because religion says why something happened and science explains how it happened.
There is absolutely no law that denies the existence of God. Actually the more you study the more evidence there is for God's existence. A nice comparison would be extraterrestrial life. There is absolutely no evidence of there being other living planets in the universe and yet scientists believe that there are aliens because of a pretty logical statement that our galaxy is just a fragment of an endless universe. It would be absurd to think we are alone. Pure logic. Thus they invested countless sums of money on listening the frequences from the outer space in hopes of finding something. A good back up for this is the fact that before scientists believed only 2 parameters were necessary for developement of life. Those two were the star to heat the planet and the other one being a precise distance from this star. One inch to much or little would mean no life. With such simple reauirents there had to be a planet somewhere. Ofcourse later we realised it takes a lot more parameters than 2 to give life. So the number jumped from 2 to 10 , 10 to 20, 20 to 50, and so on until the requirements became so tough the odds of finding a planet sufficient enough was deppressing. Depressing to the point the projects begun to shut down due to too expensive financing and zero results. So in the end a possibility of extraterrestrial life turned out to be a mere speculation.
What s more is that the restrictions for life are so strict, based on the BBT not even we are supposed to be here. Atleast not by accident. Sohow are we here? The more you look at the complexity of life and its design the more you admire how well developed it is. A true miracle. Such a work of art is only logical to have a creator. The chance that such complex restrictions for life have been fullfilled is the same as tornado running through a junkyard to create a complex working fully operational vehicle. Such complex conditions could not be filled by chance no matter how many times something happened. There had to be something pulling the strings.
Now don't get me wrong. I'm not saying we're alone or that BBT and evolution is false. The point of all this is a comparison. People will believe in aliens even though there is 0 evidence based on a logical conclusion that it is ridiculous for us to be alone in such a waste universe. But they will not believe in God despite the fact that a work of art must have an artist. Such cleverly designed complex universe must have an intelligence behind it. It is ridiculous to think everything is a product of accidents just as it is to believe that space is empty.
Now to the whole fairy thing. The reason I called your answer to that guy dumb is because you called him a nut for having a spiritual experience. I myself have witnessed more than few things that prove God is real. God is present in my life. He will reveal himself when you stop denying him. I could relate to his comment. Now even though atheist want proof in order to believe they will call those who witnessed God in their lives and the lives of others nutjobs or liars or both. So you are being a big liar yourself because no matter what you see or hear you will deny it. If God appeared in front of you you would say it's a hallucination. With your mindset you will never believe. So much for your reason and objectiveness.

No. Most atheists do not believe in God as there is not proof.
Why would you believe in something that isn't really true, at least can't be proven to be. Believing in God is the same if I believed in a mouse that can fly through space, shoot lasers out if its eyes and reads poetry at night in black holes.

If you look at human history we have always had Gods and religions, why would this 2000 years ago found religion be any different from the earlier ones, except that it was spread around the world trough violence.

kinda thinking lately about the arguments for and against God, and seems there is no cutthroat evidence that God exist but this doesn't change my belief in a supreme being called God. for me it seems the reason why most people and atheist argue against the existence of God is because the thought of someone having to control their every action is repulsive but then why not. it could be said that man has a dependent nature and cannot stand on his own and thereby needs someone who is independent to guide his every action.*dont wana start heated argument, I'm just expressing my mind*

The irony of this post is that it in fact shows as why many people are atheist. People are atheist for a variety of reasons and one of them is that many theists try to prove the existence of a god, or to disprove the absence of one, with screwed up reasonings. I've seen many people who say that they don't understand how people can believe in the Big Bang Theory or the Theory of Evolution and then try to 'disprove' them. However they barely even understand these theories and what they supposedly had 'disproven', didn't even remotely conform with what these theories actually contain. Then you have people who reason in circles, they use the existence of a god to prove the god exists. They bring fourth all kinds of 'proof', which is derived from holy books and scriptures, which then supposedly are 'true'.

That simply annoys people that use reason as god should be able to be proven without all that. The existence of a god should be able to be proven the same way how a fundamental laws of nature get proven, but from the moment that is done, there is almost nothing. Why bother believing then?

And this brings us back to your post, the question whether a god controls everything or not is a completely different matter. Even among people who firmly believe in the existence of a god, whether that god controls everything or not is a matter of debate. So that really hasn't much to do with whether you now believe in a god or not, but then you bring this up as the reason as why people become atheists? Not to mention if there was a god who controlled everything, that would mean that everyone who believes in his existence is forced to believe in the god, while the people who don't are forced likewise to not believe in the god. What kind of god would do such a screwed-up thing? And this would in fact mean you invalidate your own faith as you don't really believe, but you are forced to believe by the god who you are forced to believe in. On top of that as a god is dictating everything, why are we even bothering with this matter? If he controls everything, whatever we do is utterly pointless as he made it so. The matter whether he exists now or not doesn't even matter then as he can decide freely the outcome as he controls all. And in the end you keep falling down deeper and deeper in this spiral of screwed-up reasonings.

This is what drives many people to not believe in a god as even many of the reasonings theists provide, like yours, in the end start disproving the existence of a potential god. Your attempt at explaining as why people don't believe in a god in fact just resulted in you questioning you own faith.

I don't think religion and ignorance are mutually exclusive and I'm not religious, so I can't be ignorant.
Now to go on and prove you wrong on your basic statement that religion and science are opposing. Every greatest mind in the history of man kind b(most of them actually) believed in a creator God. Einstein, Galileo, Newton, Pascal, Tesla and so many more.
Some of these you listed who believed in God were in fact athiests, do a better research. Also all you see is a handful of religious scientists and inventors, but you ignore the many who were and are atheists.
What? This part doesn't make sense whatsoever.
Next the reason why science and religion go hand in hand is because religion says why something happened and science explains how it happened.
Exactly, science can't explain something which didn't happen and doesn't exist, those being creation and Gods, hence they can't go hand in hand.
Such complex conditions could not be filled by chance no matter how many times something happened. There had to be something pulling the strings.
You contradict yourself. You admit that the chance for life to appear and sustain is slim, because the universe is dangerous and hostile, yet then you go on how well tuned it is. And your perception of complexity is subjective. You consider that which you know to be complex, yet objectively there may be life much more complex than we are elsewhere in the universe. And it's far from well developed. You see only that it works but ignore all the flaws.
To you the processes seem like a work of art, because you are a product of those processes. And as such you are incapable of comprehending something more complex than yourself and are too egoistic to acknowledge your flaws.
Now to the whole fairy thing. The reason I called your answer to that guy dumb is because you called him a nut for having a spiritual experience. I myself have witnessed more than few things that prove God is real. God is present in my life. He will reveal himself when you stop denying him. I could relate to his comment. I'm not denying God, because he would have to be real in the first place. If he were real, there would be no reason for me to deny him. And if god were real, he would simply appear in front of everyone and would not reveal himself only to a select few who often turn out to be nut jobs.
