Eh...not really.
They simply added their own twist to it. Which I like.
But, many do like the original better, and some may believe that Glee's cover ruined the song overall, but that's fine, it is your opinion after all.^^

I dislike Glee a lot for covering this song. I didn't find out about this song through Glee and frankly I'm glad that I found out about fun. through car radio.
I just extremely hate Glee for covering chart songs now, they could have stuck to the old fashioned songs but Nooooo! They decided to cover pop songs too and now they ruin a very good song inwhich I have a music video in my head for this song, mostly involving me and a boy.. and stuff. .-. But yeah, my point is, Glee is good at certain songs but at most points, their covers are awful.
