Is it possible for someone like Gaara who controls sand, who also has fire nature, be able to to combine the to nature styles to perform glass style?

Sand seems like a combination of wind & earth, so something like that would be the second ever Kekkei Touta. That'd be interesting

That would be combining three elements and probably not. I doubt we'd ever see it either. Plus glass isn't a "combination" of three elements, such as sand and fire. It's more of a few elements being used at different times to create glass. Kekkai Tota exists, but it's incredibly rare.

Like wood would ACTUALLY be Earth and Water.

Ice would ACTUALLY be Wind and Water.

Lava would ACTUALLY be Earth and Fire.

I mean, it'd probably be possible to use a fire technique in conjunction with sand, but I doubt that there is a glass element that will exist, especially so close to the end of the manga.

Yep. Theoretically, it would be cool, but Kishi had the chance to at least incorporate glass at that time, and to add something like that now would be stupid, considering that Sasuke's Ameterasu couldn't do shit. An actual Kekkei touta might be different, and we haven't seen much of them, but Kishi gives no shits about Gaara at this point, I really doubt it.

I wonder if fire would be a weakness of Gaara's. Melt his sand into glass and he can't move it? Or, because it's made of the same materials, would he be able to manipulate it in it's liquid form at least?

Actually, believe it or not, it's just wind. They use wind chakra to manipulate the sand
