Ok, to skip the meme intro & all, I'm just a guy who happens to prefer mecha anime (and just mecha in general) to all the other genres even though it's not the only good one out there, and I hope to find more people like myself around here.
Preferred mecha series include Mazinger, Getter Robo, Gundam, the Brave series (mostly GaoGaiGar), the Eldran series, Gaiking, and many more.
Gurren Lagann is by no means the best mecha series, it took 3 decades of mecha and incorporated it into itself. Now that doesn't mean it's bad, it's just not the only good one out there.
