Background Info.
History:
Sakumo is the father of kakashi, and husband of an unkown person,is stated to have died years before Kakashi Gaiden.Kakshi looked up to his father as a strong and logical nin.When he learned about his father's dishonour kakashi vowed to never allow himself to be like that. Thus, he followed the rules of the shinobi, and following these strict set of rules like they were a religeon.
Sakumo is even stated to be stronger then the sanin.Wielding this tanto blade-also known as white chakra sword, or white light chakra sabre- he tore across battle fields with power and control. This is demostrated as when chiyo, elder of Suna, accused and attacked kakshi for killing her son, and sasori-of the red sands- parents.
Sakumo-Konoha's White Fang- was a famous ninja among Konohagakure.Famous in many ways;mostly known for his tragic mission. Earlier in his life sakumo faced a daunting decsion. He was sent on a mission of grave importance by Konoha, when the lives of his friends and teamates abruptly became at risk he chose to abandon the mission instead of continuing on.
Upon arvial to the village and after hearing the news about the failer. Sakumo was instantly shunned throughout Konoha, even those who he had saved shunned him. Skaumo went into a deep depression, and is now fighting stronger then ever to retain his honour. Though being gone from the ninja world for a long time he must re-train to raise through the ranks and surpass his former self.

Other:
-His primary weapon during battle was a tanto called the White Light Chakra Sabre that would emit a trail of white chakra when swung, earning him the nickname "Konoha's White Fang"
