Giving Tenten a bit of awesomeness

I am gonna give Tenten a bit of awesomeness.

She seems to be the only one of the Konoha 11 group and shinobi in the war with a name, who doesnt really serve a purpose in this war. The only thing she does is throwing weapons from scrolls and tbh, that aint that great.
Many fodder can aim well. Sure, she does throw them in bigger quantity than the average fodder, but that is more or less it.
Itachi had better aim, so she isnt even the best in what she does and throwing weapons is the only thing she does, unlike Itachi, who has plenty of other abilities.

I have serious doubt that Kishi will improve her much more or at all, but it could be fun to
brainstorm a bit about it.

Here are some ideas to make Tenten more awesome.

Summoning: Turtle.
Could be used in numerous ways. Defence would probably be useful, seeing how Tenten lacks some good
defences.

Weapon jutsus:
Shuriken/weapon kage bunshin no jutsu.

Weapon tricks like Itachi, hitting blind spots and such.

Elemental jutsu:
Fusing her element with weapons, just as Danzo infused his kunai with wind, just as Sasuke infuses his sword with lightning. Any Element could fit her tbh. Which Element would you want her to have?

Elemental clone.

Opening gates:
Not on the lvl of Gai and Lee, but maybe up to gate 2 or something.
It could improve her taijutsu a bit as well.

Kishi could have given these jutsus to Tenten if he started early enough with giving upgrades from time to time imo.
This would have made the character more interesting.

When the hell was the last time we even seen Tenten? Oh yea, when Naruto suddenly became "Kurama jesus" and was giving out power to everyone, he held Tenten's hand once in a small panel, and that was the last we seen of her.

Kishi should have given her some character development in part 1. I like her character design.

Tenten is already awesome. I've made threads about this before and how she'd make a better main protagonist than all the other females in Naruto combined.

There's only 4 interesting females in Naruto and that's Tayuya, Tenten, Tsunade and Kurotsuchi.

Yeah she had potential. Not sure if it is still possible to give her a moment of screentime like the other konoha 11 were given recently, like Shino with his giant bugs, eating someone from the inside.

Yeah, that was more for comedy purpose than serious I think.
What point is there in the fan if she cant use it? Unless she finds a way around it.

Nice thread, i always wanted to see more from Tenten.She's the fasted girl of Konoha 11 and has nice taijutsu skill (same as Hinata 3.5 in databook) with gate it can be a nice power up.She's skilled in fuinjutsu too so maybe she'll develop some nice sealing jutsu too.About element, i think raiton would be perfect for her style.

Sakura got power up, Hinata got power up i hope now kishi will give her an other power up now that Neji is died.

Thanks. I dont think she will get an upgrade though (not 100% no chance of happening, but it is very little chance I think). Sealing jutsu sounds like a good idea.

I hope she gets soemthing; i mean she is the only female in k11 who is not sucking up to a male; this fac puts her above the others.

I thing she can get a more specific weapon; like Naginata or bows and arrows; you know things that are not so commonly seen in NV. She is decently fast (3,5; faster than other girls in k11) and has 3,5 in taijutsu; equal with databook 1 Lee. I don't like going by databooks; but she might have more or less taijutsu skill with part 1 Lee(both being Gai's students); it could be cool if she atleast pulled of a leaf hurricane.

I liked the thread. It is cool thatothers are thinking of some side characters aswell.

Well i think she likes Lee; but she is not a female i directly associate with pairings; that's why i like her.

Wind or fire would be fitting for her. Wind attacks with weapon spam would make her attcaks more effective and dangerous. Fire aswell; like Itachi did with his combination of katon and weapons.

Or she could have these "eind and fire wheels". Chinese weapons which is generally associated with martial arts.
