Rapidly enhancing the body's cell growth, strength, stamina. Theses things has been shown in the manga. If you pumped too much steroid, its very dangerous to your body and they do not nourish you in any way even though it might speed up your muscle's growth

Restoring is all depends on what is being restored.

If you restored blood, that is called blood transfusion(not healing)

If you restored your hair in a clinic, its called hair transplantation(again not healing)

If you restore you nails' cleanliness, its called manicure.(not healing as well)

If you restore your energy with 5 hours energy drink, its called juicing up like caffeine(not healing too)

When you're tired and drink a 5 hours energy drink, it restore your energy back to it was before or even give you more energy. However, after a while your energy will return back to it regular mode. So you temporary gained something and went back to normal after.


So healing is permeant for he better or worse.
