Here's mine: Fanboism: the act of getting mentally attached to an actual or fictional character to the point of loosing your credibility out of your extreme love for him which leads you to paranoid conclusions derived from the complete lack of objectivity which has as a result the altering of absolutely everything if that somehow can make the respective fanboy's character outshine others even if it can't be supported by any logical proofs whatsoever.

Fangirls are worse. Because with fangirls you have to be really careful how you speak to them as their minds often seem so fragile that you wouldnt want to push them over the edge.

Fanboys

A fanboy will let their personal opinions guide their arguments, and make biased arguments in favor of their favorite obsession. There are different levels of fanboys, going from casual fanboys who will simply argue against the odds but still use reason and concede when defeat is inevitable, and then there are the completely insane fanboys, like for E.G itachi fapboys who will never give up, never concede, never admit that their favorites could ever lose, even if their arguments have been ripped to shreds hundreds of times by dozens of people in the same thread.

While the term "fangirl" could be used to refer to a female with a fanboy - like personality, it is more usually used to refer to female fans of certain characters who are obsessed with them sexually and want to **** them even though they're not real. Said characters popular with fangirls also tend to be Made of Fail....eg. Sasuke, Itachi, Sephiroth, Draco Malfoy, Inuyasha, Edward Cullen etc.)

Well, it's someone who is extremely devoted to a very specific and most of the time, limited topic of interest; like comics, television series, video games etc. As much as I've seen, they are extremely single-minded in their devotion, narrow minded, rejecting opinions and ideas which are opposite to theirs. And they usually make various sites which are for especially designed for their object of obession. -_-
