Gai is most definitely a beast, but I think Lee has trained harder and will become stronger. At age 16 (with only 4 years of training) he was already able to open 6 gates. His drive is just insane.

Yeah, he even had free powerups from Kurama and the sage. Gai is the one who worked the hardest for what he became. I mean, absolutely destroying Madara with his own raw power was just amazing.

Yeah Rock Lee is a true Martial Artist. He definitely worked the hardest to get to where he is today. Not just him but Gai and Dai worked equally hard. Dai invented the 8 Gates and took out some swordsmen and Gai worked all the way up till the 8th gate. Chars with fuzzy eyebrows are known for their devotion for the art.

Loosing his chest cavity & getting "blown up" were the 2 moments I loved most in that arc.
I always knew 8 gates would be OP after all of that time & hype. I'm glad it saw justice.
