Well, evidently, since they can't give their consent for *** (or anything else for that matter; being dead is kind of a big deal) you can assume that said necrophiliac has no way of making that one move that breaks the barriers between "friendly corpse" and "f*ckable corpse". I mean, after all the time aforementioned necrophiliac has spent with the corpse, you'd think they're at least well-acquainted, right? Sadly, the corpse will never move past that point and the necrophiliac probably turns into a corpse rapist. What a sad day for everyone involved.

I don't believe in this 'friend-zoned' logic. Rin's death was a catalyst that made him realize a lot of illusory facets of life. People on this base are far too immature to delve deep into his characterization. Death of a loved one ALWAYS makes one question a lot of philosophies and discard them completely or alter their perspectives on life. It's more normal and natural than people here think.

Lol he was never officially friendzoned...after he died Kakashi mentioned how Obito loved her and she said, "But I love you!" To Kakashi.....so basically it was going to happen eventually :/.

You raise a good point. It was not the fact that she "friendzoned" him that he lost it. It was the fact that she DIED. Her death after all he had done to try do for both her and Kakashi convinced him that there was something wrong with the world. She was 13... If the girl you liked who you had never confessed your feeliings to died when you were that young it would do some work on you too.

It was injustice, something terribly horribly wrong with the way the world works that people could die so young and hopes could be so crushed so easily for no particular reason. It was the cruel reality of the world that broke Obito. Whether or not Rin would've ever reciprocated his feelings does not matter, what matters is what her death meant to him. Obito is not a heartbroken lover, he is a cynic who believes that this world as it is isn't worth living in.
