And why we should keep supporting Israel.
Religious and philosophical reasons don't count as valid.
I'd rather support isreal than suppor Iraqt
And why we should keep supporting Israel.
Religious and philosophical reasons don't count as valid.
I was trying to make a point, if they're selling us something, what are they selling? We don't know?
And what exactly is your definition of ally? Yes the more allies you have the stronger you are. Let's use an example you might understand. Which is easier when playing pokemon?
A. Playing with a team of 6
B. Playing with a team of 1
The United States is also the worlds last superpower, as was stated before we make a point to protect the oppressed...those who couldn't defend themselves otherwise.
A point which is racist and otherwise NOT allowed here.
Your jimmies seem quite rustled.
Here's something to soothe those throbbing, rustled-up jimmies of yours.
Well it seems like we need to pay more attention to our country, because our debt is too high
Do me a favor and look at this.

This is national debt across the board everywhere. Even with our debt being 60% of our GDP, our "remaining GDP" so to speak is still higher than most countries in Europe put together. Not only that OP, but there are literally no countries in the world that don't have some form of what is considered "external debt."
Might I also mind the OP that our military budget alone is more than the GDP of some countries. Now stop setting fires on this forum. Class is in session and you've been schooled. Sit down.
Don't see how that disproved my post, that actually shows that we must spend more time on our country.
It disproves your post because your whole argument in the US not supporting Israel is because you believe that we spend too much money on them. The fact of the matter is the money we spend supporting Israel is very little in the long run. You claim that we need to focus on ourselves because the national debit is too high. OP, I'm giving you proof that national debit is not just an American problem, it's not just a first world problem, in fact it's a global problem that everyone deals with. In fact society itself functions on a global IOU of checks and balances. This is how the US is able to stay on top, while still having such a high debt. On a global scale national debt is the elephant in the room, and in the end the US still makes more money than everyone else. So please stop your whining and crying. You're an angst filled 15 year old trying to make his way in the real world by posting political threads on an internet forum with the sole purpose of sparking social outcry. All you want is for us to test your mettle and make you feel loved because all Jonny really wants is for someone to acknowledge his opinion as meaningful...

Oh btw, that signature is messed up, reported.

first of all, you dont have jack or squat to support shit since youre barely out of your eggshell - second of all, we're not all Americans, so either youre too smart to get that or just too ignorant and full of yourself to be able to take that into account!, correct me if im wrong tho.
Because if we support a country just because we felt sorry for them after the Holocaust that's not going to help us. We have about 15 trillion in debt, we don't need to be wasting our time giving money to countries so they can defend themselves, we need to think about (I'm talking about the US) ourselves and our debt and our economy.
I never said it wasn't a problem that everyone deals with. I agree with you. Of course national debt is a big problem. Giving me proof that it's a problem that everyone deals with does not disprove my post...
"The fact of the matter is the money we spend supporting Israel is very little in the long run." What have you to support this? "Given that U.S. military aid to Israel was $2.775 billion in 2010, $3 billion in 2011, $3.07 billion in 2012 (and $3.15 billion per year from 2013-2018) while Israel's defense budget is around $15 billion, it made us wonder how much Israeli taxpayers contribute and where the other $12 billion non-U.S. aid comes from." That's a lot of money.

That's a direct quote from your article. So the US is supplying Israel with weapons, not cash that it could do God knows what with. Not only that, but the US is only contributing to 21% of the nations defense budget. NOT ONLY THAT but let's look at who is in the general area of Israel, we have the Palestinians who don't exactly love us, Jordan who is still iffy on relations with the US, the recently communist Georgia, the list goes on of countries the US deems undesirable, and then you have Israel. Don't you think 3 billion a year to one of our allies as a safeguard against these countries is cheaper than an all out war against them? So not only are we safeguarding American lives, but we're also keeping the war far away from even our back door.
So there you are. The US defense budget is 3.083 Trillion dollars. I'm not sure you quite understand how much a trillion is OP, vs even a Billion. A million is 1/1000th of a billion, you do the rest of the math.
What does Israel have to sell? Big noses?
