Unlike most Anime's I like naruto series because of the story. It sucks you right in. Just like Dragaon Ball. I say Dragon Ball because that had a story and a good one at that. Shippuden and DBZ mirror each other in a way, I continued to watch it to see how grown up and powerful that naruto and goku got. But then due to their popularity, both steered away from what made them successful. Through public pressure and having to come out with a new episode constantly the quality of it went down some. However I have always thought Naruto did a better job of that than DBZ. DBZ had so much pressure, in making money since they were making a lot at the time, the creators didn't really have a choice. I feel the same way here with shippuden and kishi is actually tired of it imo. I suspect something like DBGT is gonna happen with naruto, maybe a short series to tie up all the loose ends once the popularity goes down. Either way and the bottom line, I loved both because of it's great story line. Eventhough it turned out to be some what of a spam fast with no plot. However Naruto actually somewhat follow it's original plot from the first series. Sometimes people just run out of ideas i suppose.
