True, depending on the type of website you go to. If it is more fictional based, then they will mainly have an avatar of a character they like, rather than a character they wished they look like. However, if it is more realistic (like a blog or RL topic forum), then more cases of that will be more prevalent. That is especially seen in dating sites where the majority of people on there do not look like their profile photo.
