I think by now most people on here know my opinion on makeup. . . :lol
I love makeup as an art form, but also as something that can be worn every day to improve appearance. The reality is, our society places pressure on women––we encourage insecurities, and we profit from them via the makeup market. While I'm all for embracing your natural appearance and loving yourself, I still enjoy makeup. To me, it's another art form, and the actual application process is enjoyable. It relieves stress. So 9 times out of 10, I'm putting makeup on for myself, and nobody else.
Before you go criticizing girls who wear makeup, remember the sort of society we live in. Who made her feel insecure in the first place?
