So while I agree they should be punished, let's not go around calling this something it isn't. it's that kind of action that causes so much distrust and animosity. They didn't "beat" the girl, I'm fairly positive they never even intended on hitting her, one of them made the stupid move of throwing a pipe and it hit her in the process. They should absolutely be punished to the fullest extent for her injuries but let's not go around calling this a deliberate beating of a white woman by catcalling black males when she wasn't really even the target. To recap Punishment - yes, Mislabeling incident to incite more drama in an already racially tense country - no.
The story's not hard to find if you look it up. She was with her boyfriend, they catcalled her, boyfriend got mad and started a fight(imo and I know it's unpopular with some, the guy should have left with his girl who cares if some guy thinks she's attractive and verbalizes it)after the guys lost the fight who were catcalling they through a pipe at the car, it broke the window and hit the girl. That's the story.
