Frankly I think Ging wins this at mid diff.

Ging, he's a genius. Chrollo can steal a nen ability, assuming he follows the specific conditions. Whereas Ging, just has to get hit by the physical attack and he can mimic it. That's not even his nen ability either, it's just how smart he is. At the same time, we don't know all the nen abilities Chrollo has stolen. If Zeno can figure out how Chrollo's ability works then I'm sure Ging can do the same but prob. a lot quicker. I say Ging wins mid diff., maybe even low but I'll say mid diff. just to be safe.

No. Ging & Pariston are the most intelligent characters we've seen thus far. There's no denying that. I'm not going to assume Chrollo is smarter than Ging either or on the same league. We got nothing in the manga to suggest he's on the same level of intellect as Ging or Pariston. I said maybe low-diff. but overall I said mid-diff because we haven't the nen abilities he's stolen and rarely any of his feats. Ging showed much better feats. to suggest a mid-diff. fight.

Mid Diff? By what measure? We know next to nothing about both of these two. We have no real idea about Ging's tech's but we know he can understand and copy techniques just by seeing them done(Leorio's wall tech) but we don't know how skilled of a skill he can do that with. We know Chrollo has a book with tons of nen abilities but we have no idea what they are aside from the 3-4 shown. We know Gings a top 5 Hunter in the world but Chrollo isn't registered as a Hunter so that's incomparable really and we know Chrollo survived against two Zoldycks while trying to steal abilities.

No matter who wins it's not mid-diff. Both have been hyped and shown to be elite characters in this manga.

I am not basing this on power alone. More than anything I am placing this on intellect.

Chrolo was outwitted by Kurapika. And was being played with by Hisoka. While ging has shown extra-ordinary intellect while dealing with paristan, giving Kite the 0th slot to his nen ability + he is a specialist + He can copy a technique without being handicaped by a book, through a sheer deduction process.

Ging. MC's dad hype is real. and i mean he's already shown that he's a badas* .. despite knowing little to nothing about him i'd still go with him in this fight. Chrollo wouldn't be a push over but i doubt he could come out with the dub.
