Gif Not Working Again

Basiclly the problem is someone added a shine effect to my avatar, I thanked them and so on, but realised it doesn't actually do anything. Its a gif image.
I've had this problem before, but nothing fixed it, any suggestions?

Yeah it's strange... I have seen that some gifs work, some don't... Happened to me as well... But can't explain why though.

Really? I can't. It just sits still, but when I uploaded it above I can see it o_o in the post

The dimension of that avatar is 156x206px which is bigger than what is allowed.
So when animated avatars gets auto re-sized by default, they don't work unlike normal avatars.
