[Discussion] giant dead crow in zetsu cave

As some of you know, 15 minutes ago I thought the dead crow was a puddle of black zetsu (cmon now it's like a rohrshack, we all see different things at first =P). But now that I see it is a giant black crow, I am just as intrigued.

Is this one of Itachi's summoning crows? Did zetsu kill it? How did it get in a cave?

Anyone got any insight?

It was probably one of the summoning crows Itachi threw at Sasuke.

So Sasuke killed them and had a quick picnic. Apparently he was too full to cook this one though.

Maybe this crow had some sort of signifigance to his body, maybe the crow was trained to swallow itachi after his death or something and had to be killed to retrieve itachi's body?

I believe it was actually outside the cave and was to signify Sasuke entering it (with regards to Itachi sending a horde of crows to subdue Sasuke last week).

The crows that attacked sasuke were all normal sized and this one definitely looks giant to me, it also does look like it's inside of a cave.

It's similar to when Madara summoned the meteors and everyone at the time thought he was pulling in the moon.
I assume Itachi wouldn't merely send small crows to deal with Sasuke either, they would have to be versatile to some degree.
It also shows Sasuke walking past one of the stalagmites similar to the environment where the crow is. I think it's merely meant to be symbolic.
