getting rep back

i was -rep by a few people wo are banned now so i should get it back right?
but i didn't. im not complaining im just wondering why especially because it was because they were just being pricks.so why can't i get it back?

You don't get reputation back even if they are banned. They were legitimate when they banned you, so it still counts.

No, it does not work like that. The -Rep stays with you forever, no matter the situation. However, I could be wrong and Admin. could take away or increase Rep depending if it does not fall into the sub-category "Rep Whoring" or "Troll Rep" such as Forums Rules (Refer to Forums Rules for more information).

Just do stuff that'll get you reps. They'll cancel out the negative ones, so you'll be back at square one.

They weren't banned when the repped you, so it counts.

As mentioned above, just because they are banned, does not mean you get the reputation points back. However, reputation abuse, as outlined in the Global Rules, is prohibited and should be reported.
