The ringing continues to grow as time progresses as at first it will disrupt how a person hears eventually hampering their ability to think. From that it starts to mess with their balance until they become incredibly disorientated.Lasts 10 turns and reduces damage of the jutsu used against the user by -5 until this effect wears off.

Channel your chakra into the air around you and then send it towards your opponent in the form of vibrations. The vibrations will cause a ringing effect/sound in the ears of the opponent that will get louder and louder as time goes on. The ringing sound will make it harder for your opponent to think. Also the eardrum places a significant part in maintaining the balance of an individual. This technique ruptures that balance, throwing off the opponent's balance and causing damage to them every turn for 10 turns. Thats -50 damage total.

Strong points

  • The ringing starts off subtly so that my opponent doesn't instantly know I have launched an attack, and if I have, there is no telling it isn't a genjutsu which was aimed to break down their hearing, giving me the advantage.

  • It isn't a one time thing, the jutsu lasts over a long period of time, and unlike other sound jutsus, not only does it make the opponent lose his/her balance, it also hampers the way they think, making it so that they aren't able to make logical decisions. (Could tie in well if I use some kind of genjutsu when this begins to happen)

  • Requires no hand seal, and because it's a sound jutsu, it can be take affect faster than most other jutsus. Moreover, it also decreases damage of the jutsus used against the user of the jutsu, so if you activate something like CM or something which allows your jutsu to give even more damage, you'd have more of an advantage in terms of power.
Weak points

  • If it's a team battle, your ally would also be affected? Unless I'm mistaken.

  • Only goes up to Mid range, so if opponent travels back to long range, the ringing would eventually halt, allowing him/her to return to their original state.

  • Can't think of one. -.-

Combinations-strategies

Like I mentioned in one of the strong points, some kind of genjutsu could be used (preferably sound based) so that the opponent is further confused (due to the ringing). Moreover, it could also be a good idea to use something which doesn't seem out of the ordinary, since the opponents ability to think is affected, it'd make it even harder to to assume that they have been put in a genjutsu.

Ways to counter:

A strong enough wind jutsu which would push the air and displace the occurring Vibration, but you'd have to first give reasons of how you know it's a genjutsu or something. Unless the person who uses it against you follows up with a Lightning jutsu, in which case, it'd be fairly easy. lol

Strong points

  • When/if in short range of the opponent, the clones dispersal (when attacked or at will), the clone would be able to deal damage to the opponent much like the Lightning clone.
  • I'd imagine it can form faster than normal shadow clones since the process is the same but you'd only need to release your chakra in the form of sound waves.
  • The clone can send sound waves which don't require you to post a jutsu, so you can perform attacks yourself as your clone sends these sound waves, without affecting the 3 jutsus in one move rule.
Weak points

  • If the clone is dispersed with you nearby, you too could be affected by the sound waves created when the clone is dispersed. If not you, it could also harm allies.
  • Clone can't use any other ninjutsu, so you'd have to protect him from most attacks, which could mean you're wasting more than one jutsu, leaving you disadvantaged.
  • Can't think of one. ~.~
Combinations-strategies

I don't know if I'd have enough time, but I'd make this clone in front of me as I re-locate when the opponent uses a jutsu which launches themselves at me so that they hit the clone and deal themselves damage as I escape unharmed.
Also, it could be used with a genjutsu which affects the opponents eyes, making them see the battlefield exactly as it is, then by using this jutsu (since it doesn't make any sound?) you could create a clone which is unseen and quite deadly with his attacks.

Ways to counter:

Any Wind/Earth jutsu would be able to destroy the clone, right? Since the sound creates a 'solid' structure, somehow, to make the clone, it should be affected by Earth jutsus such as spikes and things. Wind would be able to blow back and/or pierce the clone, dealing enough damage to destroy him completely.

This will cause invisible sound waves to come from your fist, that upon contact with your opponent, will cause them to become death and bleed out of the ear. Not only does this make it hard for them to evade attacks, but the damage to their eardrums will cause their balance to be thrown out of wack.

Strong points
  • It doesn't leave a trail and travels faster than most sound jutsus, making it extremely deadly to use against opponents who are within range.

  • Affects opponents hearing, making attacks which are from their blind spots extremely hard to notice, let alone avoid.

  • When used close up against the opponent, you can use their loss of balance and use it to your advantage by launching another close ranged attack which strikes fast, not allowing the opponent enough time to escape or counter properly.
Weak points
  • If there is some vapor, or dust present, the sound waves will be able to be seen, as the 'not leaving a trail' part of this jutsu would be made redundant.

  • It isn't able to deal internal damage, other than the damage to the ears, so if opponent has sensing, this jutsu is more or less useless.

  • ~
Combinations-strategies
Best way to use this would be in short range, since it'd be extremely hard to avoid it, especially when you consider it's more or less invisible.

Ways to counter:

You'd have to have some kind of doujutsu, or maybe have a jutsu such as C-ranked sensing rain active so that the trail of Sound coming could be noticed even if only a little bit.
Have some kind of sensing jutsu active so that your loss of hearing doesn't greatly affect you.

Strong points

  • Short range, so you'd have to use it in close quarters, it could be quite deadly in close ranged fight if the opponent isn't able to use his arm or leg.
  • You can release this jutsu from different places, makes it more efficient. Also, your opponent wouldn't suspect it to be anything other than an ordinary kick, unless they have doujutsu.
  • Even if the opponent manages to dodge it, they'd still be hit by the sonic release which makes this jutsu quite deadly.
Weak points

  • It's only short ranged.
  • Allies could also be hurt by the secondary release of the sonic vibrations, if they are nearby.
Combinations-strategies
Well, due to it being short ranged, I'd imagine the best time to use it would be in a close ranged fight where the opponent is in an awkward position (genjutsu, injury), allowing you to catch him/her off guard.

Ways to counter:

It's only one turn long, so it shouldn't be too bad, but would full body surges such as Water replacement or any versions of that kind work?

Perform a 3 jutsu combination using at least one of the Sound techs that you have learned and any other cannon techniques you may know. Then I want you to defend against your own move with another 3 jutsu combination (cannon). You can be in Mid or Short Range. It is up to you.

Attacking:

I release my chakra outwards and cause the air mid range away from me and cause it to vibrate violently, creating a ringing noise which would disrupt and annoy any opponent in that region. This would cause extreme discomfort and it'd also mess with a persons balance leaving them extremely disorientated.

Taking advantage of my opponents loss of balance, I'd release my Earth chakra into the ground below them and cause it to shake violently, easily dropping them to the ground whilst making it extremely hard for them to get up and regain their balance.

Defending:
As I begin to hear a loud ringing noise in my head, I begin to try think about it whether it's a genjutsu or some form of attack. In order to try solve both issues, Roy would release a burst of wind from his body which would either release him from the genjutsu or push back whatever is causing the sound. Being a student of sound release, Roy knows it's a possibility that a sound jutsu is being used on him, so by releasing the wind from his body, he'd also be able to push back the sound vibrations around him which are causing the sound.

Suddenly after that, the ground would begin to shake, Roy would simply empty his mind and enters a state by swaying and moving along with the vibrations of the ground so that the random shaking does not drop him to the ground but he'd rather go along with it, his whole body swaying with it allowing him to keep his balance.

In the last form of attack, Roy would see his opponent clap his hands and some rocks from the ground around his opponent to suddenly get flung forwards, seeing this, Roy knows something which he can't see is coming, and reacts by releasing a twister from his mouth which would overpower the sound and continue towards you.
