walks up to DeathStroke. Taking note of her student's unique attire, she can't help but feel both intimidated and impressed. She too, wore armor, the trademark ability of the Mandalorian Clan.Sitting across from DeathStroke, she observes the Boar getting cooked. A faint smell of roasted pork tickled her nose. It didn't smell bad, but there was still the "rawness" of the fresh game still lingering.
After a few silent moments, she spoke, her voice curt, efficient, even slightly robotic in its intonation.
"Fire is such an essential part of life, yet it can cause great destruction as well. Such a chaotic element requires much mental and physical aptitude to control and harness."
"Now tell me everything you know about Fire, in the context of our world. Relate it chakra, ninjutsu, and the shinobi way. Strengths... Weaknesses... as I said, everything you know."
Her intense, blue-eyed gaze watched as the embers from the flickering flames danced around.
Deathstroke notices the arrival of an unfamiliar face, and can come to only one conclusion, that his Sensei had arrived. Though surprised, at the fact that she was a she, his mask was able to hide the surprise on his face. Deathstroke endeavored not to give this away as well, through his speech and body movement.
Yet, as he looked at his Sensei, her impeccable armour, along with trademark of the well known, and well reputed clan and her authoritative and commanding voice was enough to convince Deathstroke, that this sensei would be just as good, if not better, than any other. Masking all this thought, he decided to give his Sensei an answer.
"Well, Fire, is a necessity. Without it, very few things could be achieved. Take this boar for example. Without fire, it would have to be eaten raw, and that's a fate I would rather wish upon my enemies. It can be used to make signals, or to warm families. However, these are just the common utilities of fire. There are those, who use fire to wreck havoc, and cause destruction, on a minor as well as major scale. If you must know, I would use this for the latter. However, unless given a reason to, I would refrain from it."

Her gaze shifting to DeathStroke's face, Aigis could see a man with many things on his mind, betraying the fact that there was much to him that she wouldn't dare peruse, lest she find something... undesirable. His expression itself spoke many words.
"Perhaps later, but I thank you for the generosity." she said, politely declining the food. She wasn't hungry just yet.
DeathStroke's explanation was rather abridged. He had hit most of the main points... but there were a few things she wanted to add. Looking back to the flames, she sat, legs propped up and held near her head. Reaching out with her free arm, she put her covered hand into the fire, feeling it. Her gaze refocused on her hand as well.
"Fire and Earth create the Lava element, for future reference."

They once took everything from me. I know fully well that Fire Release is weak to the Water Release, the element the kiri-nin are proficient in. But could you just imagine the humiliation, when someone kills a Kiri-nin using the Fire element? That's my main goal, from this training. Like I said, Fire is chaotic, which is exactly what I shall use it for."
Saying this, Deathstroke placed his gloved palm slightly above the fire, swirling his hand about in an unpredictable fashion. The erratic movement of the flame could also be perceived as a reflection of the hand movements. He looked up, and spoke again.
"It makes me feel alive. This burning sensation reminds me of what it is to be human, it keeps me fresh. Well, as anyone would expect, it feels ..hot. But unlike some, who fear this fire, I love it. This warm feeling keeps my will burning. Heh, I almost sound like a Konoha-nin.."
As he heard the sensei's request to mold Katon chakra, he then proceeded to close his eyes. Knowing the feeling of fire, he knew that vibrations cause heat. He then concentrated in the chakra in his stomach, and started vibrating it vigorously. He could feel the chakra getting heated up, a bit too much, at one point. Nevertheless, he had an affinity for pain, and was able to mold this chakra without a hiccup.
"Well, that was different. It has a different tinge to it, when the fire is inside your body, instead of outside. The burning sensation, is quite unique. Hell, if I manage to heat the chakra to a point where it hurts alot, I could use this to escape a Genjutsu. Nevertheless, this feeling has alot in common with the fire I created. They both give warmth, and this feeling is unlike any other chakra i have molded before. That's as far as I can be detailed about this experience. There is more to it, but I can't just put a handle on how to describe it.."

For example, changing the size, the quantity of your chakra, its movement and range, all theses could possibly come under Shape Manipulation. I know for sure, that the 4th Hokage's Rasengan is a Shape Manipulation."

Doton - The paper will crumble into dirt
Fuuton - The paper will split in 2
Raiton - The paper will wrinkle.
Now, there are also advanced elements, caused by the fusion of two elements. For example, like you stated, Lava Release, and Dark Release. There are far more, But the only ones related to Fire are the aforementioned ones and Scorch, Dust and Boil as far as I know.
There is also the Yin-Yang release. Yin is the spiritual energy, while yang is the physical energy, That's as far as my knowledge on them goes."

Forming the tiger seal, he opened his eyes, and opened his mouth a bit, as if to whistle. He took a large, deep breath, and then exhaled a golf-sized fire ball straight at the patch. Though it set fire, he was not content. He executed the jutsu again, this time with a larger concentration of Katon chakra. Taking a breath in, again, he exhaled a much larger fireball at the wooden logs, where the fire was. And he did not falter. He exhaled around 5 fireballs at the pit, setting a large fire.

"Good. Let the boar simmer and come over here."
Walking over to a set of targets laid out on the training grounds (like bullseyes), Aigis demonstrated the next technique. She pulled out a set of shuriken in her hands, about six in total. Closing her eyes and concentrating, she channeled her Katon chakra through them, infusing them with it. Then, her arms in an "X" formation, she released the shruiken in a flurry, hitting each bullseye target at varying locations. They latched onto them for a while. Then, without warning, each individual shuriken was set ablaze. Aigis had triggered them by a mental command, allowing her Katon chakra that were on the shuriken to ignite.
"Do as I did, DeathStroke. Ask questions if you have any. Let's see if your accuracy is better than mine..." she said, issuing a friendly challenge to him.

But instead of igniting it to form a flame, exhale your chakra-infused breath as a flammable gas, that can surround your enemies- in this case, our training dummies."
"After that, you can concentrate and mold Katon chakra on any of your limbs, and form a flame that surrounds it. Then, thrust said limb forward, shooting it forward as a basic flame attack. Aim it towards the gas, and if you do this correctly, the gas and fire, when mixed together, will cause a larger, more powerful explosion that is greater than the sum of its parts."

He then, with a great thrust, shot a fire ball from his palm, straight ahead, as it approached the dummies. However, before it could make contact, the flammable gas from earlier came into contact with the fireball, as it resulted in a large explosion, completely obliterating the dummies.-
