Excuse me but slavery wasnt an american eclusive thing the entire world has done it and the diamonds mines in ghana still practice slavery and other countrys still use slavery even now

Racism is everywhere so it is again not an american only thing

Im not down playing what goes on or happened but you need to get your facts streight
I'm assuming you don't live in the US, otherwise you wouldn't make such an ignorant statement and call into question my intelligence.

I'm full aware various African and Mesopotamian cultures practiced slavery centuries before it arrived in the west.

However, America is the only culture that centuries after the banning of slavery has continued to perpetuate the guilt. To this day we still tip toe around the issue and talk in hushed tones about our dark past instead of moving on. It perpetuates a culture of bias and racism making true equality possible.

Sit down.

From my observation this thing had little to no impact in our daily lives. I think we have more important things to deal with tbh.

I wish the citizens and diaspora of Turkey & Armenia were mature and developed enough to solve there problems (such as genocide recognition, political relations etc.) w/o being schooled and controlled by higher powers. All 11 Turks in parliment said genocide should be recognized afterall. Even this sudden case of genocide recognition was about making a political move; not paying respect to victims or human rights.

I personally believe this case is getting oversimplified between recognition or not. Recognition on state level will not bring co-existence or justice. It will mean "yeah thing happened and this was its name". In a hypothetical future which genocide is recognized, the alive relatives of genocide victims will demand to visit different parts of Turkey maybe even live here permanantly. What is the point of recognition if they can not live in peace and there is ethnic and religious tension? I did not even bring up the issue with Azerbaijan.

God, Erdogan is the worst leader in modern Turkey. And the Western leaders who are like "omg he is sooo sharia wth!11!" *****es please where were you when you were nourishing him as our next owner? Where were you when you were actively supporting him? When he was on covers of magazine? All that "Erdogan model" crap that portrayted him as beacon of light which proves that Muslim majority countries can be seccular as if he brought seccularism here? Seccularism is getting applied since 1920ies when caliphate flushed down the toilet yet they erased our history of seccular republic to portray Erdogan as a modern leader. News flash he is the most regressive one.

The lives around this geography are toys.

Well the "you're with us or against us" attitude of Muslims is not a unique one. You can't really call them fake Muslims when I live everyday life with "fake" Christians. An offspring that terminates its life giver gains capital punishment and is stoned to death/decapitated in all 3 Abrahamic religions... According to the books of Moses of course.

Meaning 2 of these 3 religions are not really that fulfilling to its scriptures. Christians are one of those. A handful of Islam extremism reality is supposedly found in Moses' ways of Life left to Aaron and the elders. I am not seeing 1 Christian following them. It seems Jesus really loosened the leash. He gave them a lot of excuses of elusiveness towards them.
