So we all know that Himawari has a deactivate-able Byakugan.

Which means that she can possibly learn how to use Gentle Fist.

To top it all off, she is an Uzumaki with a latent ability of chakra chains.

(Dunno why Naruto doesnt have it though -_- maybe because hes binding Kurama to his body)

Now if she ever master both of those, how OP do you think her combinations can be?

Because I think those techs compliment one another and that she can use her byakugan to pinpoint and destroy chakra paths using the gentle fist tech but she can bind the enemies before doing so or simply use the chains to attack those chakra pathways directly instead of getting in close and relying on close combat taijutsu.

Thoughts?

I don't think that's the case, Kishi will most likely divide Naruto and Hinata's abilities like he divided the Sage's between Indra and Ashura and Ashura's between Uzumaki and Senju.

Himawari will probably have the Byakugan with limited gentle fist while Boruto will most likely get feats like Kaiten and vacuum palm since it was foreshadowed.

His name is a reference to Neji while Hima's name means sunflower and the sun is representation Yang energy. So the author is suggesting that Boruto is more Yin while Himawari is more Yang.

Chains would literally have to be much smaller, like much smaller since the chakra points are very small holes (I think pin sized). But you can send chakra through objects, so it could work....I guess.

The only people to use adamantine chains have been red-haired Uzumaki, so it's possible that the latent ability isn't even in Himawari.
