How they do so
To perform the technique, I start to focus on my chakra system and chakra flow. I concentrate further to mold up my raw chakra and then send it to the brain of the target and I use my chakra in the brain of the target to control the target's eyes to see clones of me form out of the ground and run towards him while in the real world, there is no clone and this gives me a lot of room to make any attack which makes it difficult for the target to counter. This genjutsu also makes the clones multiply in the illusion world if they are attacked by the target.
What happenes
If successful, the target will see several clones on the user appear and dash towards him, and if the target attacks the clones, the clones multiply.

Ok, time for the last D-rank!

By forming two handseals, a swirl of leaves will surround your opponent, and it goes away to reveal whatever you fear the most. This can cause shock and fainting if done well enough.

Here's a question for discussion. What do you fear?

( Magen: Narakumi ) - Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user performs two handseals causing it to appear as if a swirl of leaves surrounds the opponent. The swirl eventually falls away, and after a few seconds, the opponent sees the image of whatever they fear the most, shocking them and potentially causing them to faint.

How they do so
The user makes the required two handseal, then they begin to focus on their chakra system and chakra flow after which they channel their raw chakra into the opponents brain to make the opponent see a swirl of leaves around him and the swirl of leaves eventually fall away to reveal the opponent's most feared image that scares and shock the opponent and eventually makes the opponent faint while in the real world, the opponent is just standing still(paralysed)
What happenes
If successful, the opponent will see the image they fear the most which will shock the target and make him faint from the shock.

Very interesting! Thank you for sharing, shonnen :)

Ok, C-ranks!

This one's funny in a way, you cast an illusion at a moving opponent, making them believe they're running in a straight line when in reality they're going in circles.

If I were to cast this illusion on you, how would you figure out that it was an illusion?

( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

The sense of sight.
How they do so
The user will begin to focus on their chakra system and chakra flow thereby molding up their raw chakra in their body and then send it to the brain of a moving target to alter the sense of sight of the moving target to make the target see that they are travelling on a straight line while in reality, they are actually travelling in circles.
What happenes
If successful, the target will see in the illusion that they are walking on a straight line while in reality, they are actually walking in circles.
I would discover the genjutsu because I would know Im walking in a straight line but I am not getting to a new location.

And sensei, what do you FEAR?

What do I fear? Irrelevance. Failure. Inability. All standard fears, but I also fear losing myself, or not know what "myself" is. I try to keep a positive attitude and tackle things the best I can :)

For this C-rank, your opponent has to be stationary (not moving). This technique is relatively useless in a fight, honestly, and is better for NW events and whatnot. I won't have you analyze this one. However, it says it works on ninjas up to two ranks lower than you. Since I'm an unofficial Sage, I can affect Sannin-level opponents. What about you, shonnen? Based on your rank, what level of enemy can you use this technique on?

( Genjutsu: Jinmon ) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

Then, this one. Can you think of a good combination to create a "no-win" situation where your opponent would have to metagame to try and break out of it?

( Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka ) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.

I can use the first genjutsu on Jounin and lower ranked ninjas.

Senses Affected
Sense of sight
How they do so
I can sensei.
I would make the requirements and then spit out a giant fireball upwards to go in an arc to land on the target and burn the target(great fireball shower) and as the fireball got on top of the target, I would immediately cast the genjutsu on the target so they think that the fireball in the genjutsu is the one that is actually coming at them.
What happenes
If successful, the target will see a huge ball of fire from the sky descending on them to burn them while in reality, nothing is there.

Perfect! Good insight, shonnen ^^

For the last C-rank technique, you'll force an illusion on your opponent wherein a clone appears and charges your target. That clone will "explode" into cherry blossom petals, obscuring their vision and leaving them vulnerable to a follow-up jutsu.

Tell me what you would personally use to attack them afterward, and how you'd try to figure out it's an illusion.

( Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu ) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.

I would use this to block my opponents vision in a battle while I launch an attack at them making it difficult for them to escape the attack.

B-ranks! The first one here is the same as the D-rank jutsu we learned at the very beginning, but it's a dual-layered version where you use two C-rank false surroundings techniques to create a B-ranked illusion. If you use the equivalent to break a B-rank illusion, you'll stop the entire illusion, but if you only break out with C-rank strength, you'll only break one and the other will remain.

Let's say we're sparring in a forest. How would you utilize this illusion to throw me off?

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

If we are fighting in a forest and I want to use the illusion, I would quickly focus on my chakra system and chakra flow. I would then proceed further to channel my raw chakra into your brain which I will use to cast you in an illusion where you would see yourself in mid air, falling with great speed and I will make the second illusion be that you are in a volcano and I am at the edge of the top of the volcano so when you break out of the first illusion, you will see yourself inside the volcano which is the second illusion so it will look like you fell inside the volcano.

Hm. Not bad. I like the premise of that xd

Next, pull out a sword and wave it back and forth. You'll hypnotize your opponent to fall under the illusion that your arms multiply and are swinging many swords. This leaves them vulnerable, and since you already have a sword, the rest is history!

You should find me an image of how this was used in the manga or anime.

( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

You must be registered for see images

Usage
After hearing Souji, I quickly grab my katana and start to swing it continously and as the target stares as the sword's movement, I quickly channel chakra into the brain of the target to control the target's sight to make the target see my hand and katana multiply thereby hypnotizing the target and using the opportunity to cut down the target while he's hypnotized in the illusion.

Moving on!

Weave four handseals and disappear from view, and bean vines will restrain your target by binding them. A bean pod will appear afterward with you in it, ready to attack. Note that this just immobilizes your target; nothing else.

Same drill as the last technique :)

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

Usage
To begin the technique, I quickly start by making the required 4 handseals Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram in that order. I then start to focus on my chakra system and chakra flow after which I mold up my raw chakra and channel it to the brain of the target to control the target's vision and make him see that I suddenly disappear and then bean vines grow from the ground beneath him and bind him while it lifts him up and then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal me and after which I attack him while he is trapped, making it difficult for him to counter the attack. While in real life, the target is simply staying still in a position and nothing is happening unless I want to utilize the opportunity to launch an attack at him.

Quiz time; deduce this illusion and try to break out of it without metagaming and the appropriate level of breakage.

Souji places his student in a Genjutsu wherein a large flower bud emerges from the ground and traps him. If the technique were allowed to continue, the flower bud would explode and cause mental stress derived from the perceived damage his student would have taken from the "explosion".

( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

As Shun heard his sensei says "Quiz time", Shun quickly braced himself as he takes a fighting stance in readiness for anything thrown at him by his sensei. Moments later, Shun suddenly notices a flower bud emerging from the ground under him to trap him. As the flower bud was growing from under him, Shun began to wonder if his sensei was a wood user or not because only wood users could control things like that but Shun didn't know it was a genjutsu. So to shatter, toast and destroy the flower bud, Shun quickly releases an overall discharge of unfocused lightning from all over his body with the aim of the destroying the flower buds but instead, it breaks Shun out of the illusion casted on him by his sensei there and then did Shun now realize that he was in an illusion set by his sensei and after which Shun smiled.

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current
Rank: A
Type: Offense/Defence
Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Yes, that was correct, but don't forget you also have five senses. The flower bud doesn't really have a smell or texture that you'd expect from something like it, so you can tell it's fake and react appropriately. That's why I ask you what senses it affects; you can use your unaffected ones to help you figure the illusion out.

Perform this one on me; I'll try to break out of it this time ^_^

( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.
