His new student was odd. An Uchiha, so Genjustu was not going to be a problem for him. However, he did not know about the Nekura clan yet, seeing as he tried to use his Genjutsu technique on Dean. Trying to hold in his laugh, Dean took a sip of his bottle of Gin from his bag, after Obito had performed the Genjutsu. Knowing that this masked dude would be quite confused, Dean decided to tell him how the Genjutsu didn't have an effect on him. Maybe Obito thought he did the Genjutsu wrong. Nonetheless, Dean threw the scroll towards Obito that contained the technique he just did. (My RP way of explaining why I post the technique)

"Nice performance there, but there is one thing you should know. Genjutsu simply can't work on me. My body rejects all foreign chakra, which Genjutsu is, so it just doesn't work. This is one of the curses and gifts of being a Nekura. THIS IS THE POWER OF THE NEKURA CLAN!!!!!!!!!!. Anyway, here is the technique you just learned."

Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

"Now, we will explain my method before we go on to the next Genjutsu, I will explain the technique to you and then place you under the Genjutsu. You will then analyse and break the Genjutsu, with the appropriate technique or method, and then give me at least 2 advantages and disadvantages, and how you would use the technique in battle. If you have questions, be sure to ask!

Now, the first Genjutsu technique I will be teaching you is a simple one, albeit a bit weird. You will start off by forming the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals, and then inducing the Genjutsu upon the opponent. The opponent will then see you disappear suddenly, and then see several bean vines grow from the ground around them and beneath them. These vines constrict the opponent's body, wrapping around their arms and legs, and lifting them into the air. Whilst the opponent is held up in the air, a bean pod will rise from the ground, from which the user of the Genjutsu will come out of and be ready to strike. Now, in reality, the opponent is simply immobilized, allowing enough time for the user of the Genjutsu to strike. Quite easy technique, but would be quite believable if you have a wood bio, as you can make it look like a weird wood/plant like attack, instead of a Genjutsu. Here we go!"

With a few hand seals, Dean induces Obito the Genjutsu. The vines will start to grab him by the arms and legs as Dean had disappeared, and after a while, Dean will emerge out of a Bean Pod, and attack Obito. In reality though, Dean throws a simple kunai towards Obito as he is just standing there.

Obito stood quietly while observing his new sensei’s reaction to his recently performed genjutsu. Something didn’t seem right, the man did not seem phased at all. A puzzled look that was hidden to outside view due to the mask came over the face of Obito as Dean started to take sips of whatever beverage he had filled in his bottle. The man appeared as if he was trying to hold back a snicker which rendered Obito, clueless as he was lost on exactly what was happening. He knew that the genjutsu was performed correctly, so what could have been so funny? Whatever the joke that Obito apparently wasn’t apart of was, he remained silent and slowly sheathed his sword.

His sensei then tossed a scroll in Obito’s direction and begun to speak, explaining why the genjutsu did not work on him. Apparently this Nekura clan was immune to genjutsu which Obito found astonishing. A clan that a man like Oro would probably love to experiment on. While Obito didn’t have any problems with this man or his clan, he made sure to take a mental note of this so called immunity just in case for whatever reason he crossed paths with a nekura in the future.

As Dean kept speaking, Obito made sure to pay attention to every word. He informed Obito on how to perform the next genjutsu technique that he would be learning and what he expected Obito to do afterwards. Obito then raised his hands before his chest and starting forming the hand seals just for practice but before he could finish, he was placed under his sensei’s genjutsu.

Hmmm.

Observing the area, Obito started to notice the growth of the vines. The fact that his sensei told him beforehand that he would be placing him under genjutsus already made it obvious that he was trapped in one, so he didn’t become too nervous as he already knew what was happening. Acting as if he didn’t already know that this was a genjutsu, Obito began to analyze the concepts of the jutsu. For one, depending on the terrain where a battle is fought, it may be impossible for any type of random growth of vines and as far as Obito knew, there weren’t too many shinobi out there capable of controlling plants. The rate at which they grow and an odorless smell could also be a dead giveaway.

Without panicking, Obito quickly waved one hand seal while disturbing his chakra flow and bringing it to a halt before spiking it which would unbalance his chakra and break him free from the illusion. The moment Obito broke free from the illusion, he noticed his sensei throwing a kunai his way. unable to react, the kunai pierces through Obito’s head and he dies a sad death Obito leans his head slightly to the side just enough for the kunai to fly right by him. Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

Taking a deep breath after dodging the kunai, Obito proceeded to tell his sensei what he would consider advantages and disadvantages for this technique.

While this wouldn’t be one of my go to techniques, I could see how it could be helpful. For one, if the user lacks knowledge of my abilities, he may assume that I can control plants and may think it’s an actual technique. In areas with a lot of plant life, it could also be used to trick the opponent and as you mentioned, a wood user (points to Hashirama bio :p) could make this jutsu seem more believable. The genjutsu itsel also immobilizes the opponent which can leave an opening for a free attack if they’re unable to break free.

Disadvantage wise, the plants not having a smell to them should be a dead giveaway. The gen is also somewhat terrain based to make it seem believable. I would only use this technique if I were to be in a grassy area, populated by a lot of plants. If I was a wood user (looks at advanced obito bios) I could also use this technique
.

After giving his explanation of what he belived to be advantages and disadvantages, Obito waited for his sensei’s approval.

Obito seemed surprised at Dean's abilities, this would mean he never met a Nekura in battle before. Most people hadn't, and those that did, didn't live long enough to tell the tale. Nonetheless, Obito seemed to be quite knowledgeable, for a man of very few words. Dean wasn't surprised. The other Uchiha he had trained, were the same. This was a clan of determined Shinobi, and Dean wanted to be serious but it just wasn't in his nature to be so. With Obito's analysis and breakig of the Genjutsu, Dean nodded his head as he started to talk once more. From his bag, he grabbed the next scroll, and threw it towards Obito.

"Very good, Obito. I don't have anything to add, and I like that you said that the technique is "terrain based", because it truly is. Imagine using it in a desert terrain, it would simply make no sense. Nonetheless, I like it. Here you go."

Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, the user will do the Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram hand seals and trigger an illusion where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground around and beneath him. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

"Okay, now we will move on to the next technique. The next illusion is another simple one, which is initiated without the need of hand seals. One you have induced the opponent within the Genjutsu, they will start to see a large flower bud, in which they are trapped. This large flower bud then explodes, making the opponent believe that the explosion had really occurred, and that they suffered the damage. Within the Genjutsu, the opponent collapses whilst in reality, the stress on the mind of the opponent causes B rank damage. This makes this Genjutsu quite dangerous on its own, should it succeed. Like the previous technique, it could work well with Wood, because Hashirama has a technique that creates somewhat, flower type of creations."

Without any indication, Dean places Obito under the Genjutsu, which causes him to see a large flower bud beneath him, and him trapped within it. Within mere moments, the flower bud would explode and cause Obito massive damage.

A smile came over the face of Obito as his sensei praised him on his assessment of the recent genjutsu that he had just learned. Obito thought to himself that he must’ve covered the technique perfectly if his sensei had nothing else to add. Although he had yet to master the illusionary arts, Obito took a liking to genjutsu immediately. He absorbed all of the knowledge that he gathered from these training sessions so that he could properly execute the techniques that he will learn whenever needed in battle.

“Piece of cake so far”Obito thought to himself as he snatched the scroll thrown at him out of the air. His sensei began speaking about the next technique that Obito would be learning. As Obito listened in on the details of the technique he couldn’t help but think that this technique seemed somewhat similar to the last technique. He mumbled to himself…

Another illusion involving some type of plant, eh.

Once again, Obito was placed under a genjutsu casted by his sensei. Obito noted a large flower starting to take growth beneath him that began to enclose on him as he stood in place. For one, this was another jutsu involving plants and unless the nekura clan had more surprises that were unknown to Obito or anyone else had the ability to control plants for that matter, a regular jutsu like this would not be possible. Obito also couldn’t recall hearing the bud growing from underneath him, it was just as if the flower bud had randomly appeared. After deducing the technique as if he was in an actual battle, Obito once again brought his chakra to a halt and then spiked it, releasing him from the illusion.

Once released from the genjutsu, Obito formed a fist with his right hand and placed it on his chin while slowly turning his head to the left, cracking his neck. So far these illusions were too easy to identify. If a ninja had actually fell victim to this technique it would be pathetic in Obito’s mind. After taking a few moments to mentally go over the genjutsu, Obito laid his eye on his sensei and begun to speak about the technique that he had just willingly fallen victim to.

Well, I hate to be repetitive, but once again this seems like another jutsu that would work best in a grassy area full of plant life to best deceive your opponent. Unless facing off against a ninja like Hashirama, a flower bud randomly appearing without any sound or hand seals performed by the user should automatically be detected as an illusion by a shinobi with any knowledge in genjutsu.

This jutsu does have a few advantages, not requiring any handseals being one of them. Because the technique requires no hand seals, it could be used to slow your opponent down if they are on the aggressive side. The technique is also capable of damaging the target due to the stress placed on their mind which is also a good thing.

Am I missing anything
?

Obito had a good grasp on Genjutsu, which Dean liked. Dean himself, gained a new liking for Genjutsu, due to its freedom and power over the opponent. There was just something about the illusionary arts that made Dean like it, maybe it was the dark Keigoku that drove him to like things that made him feel like he was in control, or the fear associated with Genjutsu. Perhaps Obito had the same feeling towards Genjutsu, who would know. He was an Uchiha after all. His analysis was great once more, because these Genjutsu techniques were simple to say the least. They had very little imagination, to be blunt. Dean simply nodded as he showed that Obito had covered a sufficient amount of detail for the technique.

"Well done, Obito. The technique is pretty limited. It is one of the few Canon Genjutsu techniques that can cause damage, through the use of mental stress. This already makes it insanely useful, and like I said before, it is basically terrain based. Other than that, you covered the entirety of the technique. Here you go."

Rank: B

Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

"Now, don't hate me for this, but the next Genjutsu technique is ANOTHER tree based one. I bet the person making these had a tree/plant fetish. Nonetheless, the technique starts off by forming five hand seals and inducing the Genjutsu on the opponent. Within the Genjutsu, the opponent would see you dissolve into a mist. You will then move towards the opponent in this mist form, and the opponent will then see themselves bound by a fast growing tree, which causes them to be immobilized. The opponent will then see you emerge from the tree and attack them. In reality though, the opponent is simply immobilized allowing you to attack. A nice technique, but it has several steps, too long for my taste. Also doesn't allow for some creative freedom."

Dean creates a clone and induces the Genjutsu on Obito, which causes him to see the clone dissolve into a mist, and then mere moments later, a tree emerges and binds Obito. From the tree, emerges the clone and attacks. In reality, the clone is running towards Obito, with a kunai in hand.

Obito nodded back at his sensei. The training thus far was going smoothly and hopefully Dean was satisfied with Obito. He shook his head after Dean spoke his first sentence regarding the next genjutsu that he would be learning. “Another damn plant genjutsu, I swear I’m going to burn every plant I see after this” Obito thought to himself. While he was a fan of genjutsu, a lot of these techniques seemed too similar. As his sensei continued to speak, Obito couldn’t help but to let out a snicker after his sensei made the remark about the creator of these techniques having a plant fetish, which they probably did. Dean proceeded to give out the details on how to perform the technique and what the illusion would bring to its target.

Here we go again

Obito studied the hand seals carefully as Dean performed then before he was trapped in the illusion. He witnessed what would appear to be a clone suddenly dissolve into a random mist. The masked Uchiha took a deep breath as he began to analyze what was happening. Several thoughts ran through his head as he imagined this technique being used on him in the midst of a battle. For one, the user just dissolving into mist is suspect enough. The tree which binds me I should be able to smell. My other senses that are not affected by this genjutsu also comes into play, such as hearing the tree emerge before it binds me. “Childs play” Obito thought to himself as he prepared to break free of the illusion after deducing that it was one.

With a massive amount of doton chakra gathered from within, Obito allows the doton chakra to burst throughout all of his body. A armor of rock begins to form over Obito.

Rank: S
Type: Offense/Defence/Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40 (-15 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user releases a burst of earth chakra from all over his body. As he does this, a multitude of rock seemingly grows from his skin, forming a large, dense armour or rock much bigger and bulkier than the users original size. The armour can be manipulated and used to create extendable weapons to strike a target with like rudimentary swords or hammers. The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.

Once free from the illusion, Obito, quickly grabbed hold of a kunair and threw it at the clone. After the clone vanquished, The Uchiha started to explain what he saw as advantages and disadvantages of this technique. Before beginning his assessment of the genjutsu, Obito mumbled, “I hope this is the last genjutsu involving trees, I am going to have nightmares of plants attacking me if there is anymore.”

Anyway, as far as advantages goes, like most genjutsu’s this technique will leave the target open for an attack due to the mental binding of the tree. Because of the immobilization, methods of escape are limited.

Disadvantage wise, dissolving into mist is not something an intelligent shinobi would fall for. Unless the skies are already somewhat misty or the user doesn’t use the hidden in the mist jutsu to combo with this technique, I don’t see anyone falling for it. Huge disadvantage is the amount of hand seals that this jutsu requires; as you previously stated, this technique has too many steps. The jutsu can only be performed in short range, which depending on the victim’s method to escape could make the backfire very dangerous.

Obito was quite good at this, despite his hate for the plant based Genjutsu. Dean merely laughed at Obito's comments about it. His breaking and analyzing of the technique was well done. Most Genjustu techniques require the user to be smart when to use them. If everything works out, a Genjutsu could end the match. Dean threw another scroll towards Obito.

"Very good. The technique has too many steps, indeed. I for one, am a fan of more subtle and fast Genjutsu. Here you go."

Rank: B

Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

"Alright, now that we got rid of those tree ones (not completely), the next Genjutsu is one that would go well if you have Snake summons. Once you induce the Genjutsu on the opponent, without the need of hand seals, the opponent will see Snakes appear beneath him, and constrict him. With the command of the opponent, these Snakes will crush the opponent. In reality though, the opponent is constricted and takes mental stress damage. So it's one of those Genjutsu that actually damage you due to the stress on your mind. Although the technique is nice, it has a few things that gives it away. So yeah, here we go."

Dean induces the Genjutsu on Obito. He will then see several Snakes emerge from beneath him, and coil around him. As they coil around him, Dean would command them to crush Obito. In reality, as Obito is constricted, Dean creates a clone that runs in a right arc, in an effort to slash Obito's throat with his kunai in his hand.

As he caught the scroll, Obito nodded his head in agreement towards his sensei’s opinion of the previously performed technique. His sensei then continued to explain the next technique. Obito let out a sigh of relief as Dean informed him that they were finished with tree related genjutsus for the time being. The next technique Obito would be learning according to his sensei would apparently blend well if one had signed the snake summons contract. Obito mumbled to himself…

Shit, don’t have those (XD)

Without even performing a hand seal, Dean placed Obito under the genjutsu. Several snakes suddenly emerged from below and started to coil around him. Obito immediately began to analyze the illusion. A dead giveaway and possibly the only thing necessary to deduce this genjutsu depending on the situation the user executes the technique is that there is no hand seals and the steps required to summon an animal weren’t performed by the user, so how could these snakes just randomly appear. The vibrating of snakes from below was also a missing factor. The habitat of the surrounding area was also another factor to take note of.

Once finished with his deduction, Obito generates and then sends a quick surge of raiton chakra throughout his body, releasing him from the genjutsu. As the illusion of the snakes vanish, Obito lays his eyes upon a clone of his sensei, charging at him. He quickly withdraws two of his own kunai and throw them directly at the clone, halting its charge.

Rank: A

Range: Short (Mid if channeled through a medium)
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A (+10 if used to boost weapon damage)
Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

Advantage wise, this technique requires no hand seals and can be performed rather quickly. If used alongside a snake summoning, deducing it as an illusion may prove difficult. Other obvious advantages are that this technique is capable of inflicting damage on your opponent, which is always a plus.

Disadvantage wise, if the user does not possess a snake contract, the absence of the ritual required to summon a snake and the cloud of white smoke will make this technique too obvious. Not feeling a tremor/vibration from beneath as the snakes emerge is also a giveaway.

Dean listened attentively as Obito explained and analysed the technique. He did well once more, even his advantages and disadvantages were good. The technique was an interesting one, but it's weaknesses were obvious, and with the Sharingan or even without it, it would be easy to decipher. With a quick flick of his hand, Dean launches the scroll towards Obito.

"Ha.. well done. With Snake summons, one can make it a bit more believable. Nonetheless, here you go."

In the Genjutsu, the opponent will see purple like flowers summoned from beneath them. These flowers damages the opponent, with a chance to paralyse them. So yeah, another plant like illusion, WHO MADE THIS >________>". Ehgmmmm.... anyway, here we go."

Dean places Obito under the Genjutsu, where he will see purple flowers summoned beneath him. These flowers can then damage Obito, and even paralyse him. Dean simply waited for Obito to break it.

"After breaking that, you will perform a single hand seal and place the opponent in a Genjutsu. Whilst the opponent is in the Genjutsu, you will throw a large number of explosive tags onto the opponent, whilst the opponent thinks these explosive tags are countless butterflies. The opponent would then believe that they are sinking into the ground, but in reality they are actually immobilized. So while they are now completely immobilized, you will place a final tag on the opponent's forehead in reality and then detonate them all simultaneously. Not really a nice technique for me, very vague and impractical. But this technique I just want you to analyse it for me."

Dean simply waits for Obito to analyse the technique.

Obito morphs into Oni Hyuga >.<

Oni placed the scroll of the last genjutsu away as it was time to move on.. Dean proceeded to explain the next genjutsu that would be learnt by Oni. A smile came over the face as Dean stated that the technique required no hand seals; that smile immediately turned into a frown as Dean said the word flowers. The Hyuga shook his head and chuckled at Deans last comment before being placed under the illusion.

After being placed under the genjutsu, Oni noticed purple flowers growing in front of him. This seemed to be another illusion that could be easily deduced by relying on the victim’s senses. Not hearing the sound of the plants growing or being able to smell them was an easy giveaway, plus the fact that no hand seals were made could also be a perfect clue. After his deduction, Oni then performed the same technique he did to break out of the last genjutsu that was placed upon him.

Once free from that genjutsu, Dean began to explain the next technique. It seemed like a genjutsu which had a lot of action occurring in the illusion. Oni listened carefully to all of the details so that he could break it down for his sensei. Oni released a sigh of relief once as he was informed that he would only have to analyze the second technique and not actually be placed under it; he didn’t know how many more illusions his mind could take in this session (xD).

Well for the first genjutsu that you placed me under, there are a few advantages and disadvantages. Advantage wise, the technique requires no hand seals which leaves room for some combo possibilities such as distractions. The genjutsu not only places the victim under an illusion but also has the chance to paralyze them which is another plus. Disadvantage wise, like most plant based genjutsus, terrain could be a big factor for deceiving your opponent with this technique. Also, only a select few are capable of executing similar techniques and the fact that no hand seals are performed is also suspicious.

As far as the second technique goes, butterflies arriving from no given source is suspicious already, so the user must be smart when performing this genjutsu. The victim should also be able to hear the butterflies or even see their shadows on the ground as they fly.

sorry if my description somewhat lacked on this one. I've been pooped from all of this HW.

It's alright, once more, sorry for the late reply. Here we go.

Oni quickly deciphered the two techniques and left Dean with not much more to say about the techniques. The Genjutsu that Dean was able to teach was quite easy and simple anyway, he would have hoped that Oni would get it, and he did. So no problem there. With a quick flick of his wrist, Dean throws two scrolls towards Oni.

"Well done. Here you go."

The opponent then believes they are sinking into the ground, in reality making them immobilized; this allows the user to place one final exploding tag on their forehead before detonating all the tags simultaneously.

"Alright, now for the very last two techniques I can teach you. The first one is fairly simple and widely used. You will perform a single hand seal, and induce a Genjutsu on everyone in the area. Within the Genjutsu, the opponent will see feathers fall from the sky, which gradually makes them drowsy, and after one turn, if the opponent hasn't broken the Genjutsu, they will fall to sleep. Quite stupid, but also effective."

Dean causes a single hand seal, causing Oni to see feathers fall majestically from the sky. their grace and wonder entice him, as he gets drowsier, the longer he stares at the feathers that fall from the heavens. In the mean time, Dean watches the new episode of The Walking Dead.

"Last Genjutsu I can teach you, starts off by forming a single hand seal and trapping the opponent in a Genjutsu. Within this Genjutsu, the opponent is trapped in a world of darkness, it is totally dark and the opponent can't see shit z,z However, their other senses work fine, so it is quite easy to come out of. A nice distraction type of Genjutsu."

Dean traps Oni in the Genjutsu with a single hand seal, and throws several kunai towards him.

After catching the two scrolls and placing them in his pouch,Oni listened closely to his sensei after being praised yet once again for his analysis of the illusions. It seemed that the two were nearing the ending of this session and Oni couldn’t be happier. He was grateful for everything that this man had taught him. The next technique Oni would be learning would apparently be capable of putting an opponent to sleep. By the sounds of it, this technique could be quite useful if used in the right situations.

Without a warning, Dean waved a hand seal and placed Oni under the genjutsu. Oni activated his byakugan and threw a rock at his sensei while he watched the walking dead Feathers started to fall from the sky and Oni couldn’t help but feeling a little drowsy. Oni wondered to himself, how is it possible for feathers to just randomly appear and fall from the sky and where was the source of the feathers coming from? As far as Oni knew, there wasn’t any ordinary techniques that would allow this and there was no sight of birds or any creature capable of shedding feathers above him. The feathers also did not have shadows as they fell from above. The fact that all of a sudden Oni started feeling drowsy was fishy as well. Oni withdrew a kunai and stabbed his leg to break him free of the illusion.

Ah got my thigh all bloody

Dean proceeded to explain the last technique that Oni would be learning from this training session. It was an illusion that brought a world of darkness to those who fell victim to it. With the waving of a single hand seal, Oni was once again placed under the illusion. The immediate absence of any source of light was a sketchy enough. Oni didn’t see his sensei spew out any substance that could temporarily blind him anyways. Being able to still smell the air (or whatever is in the area), touch, and hear was a dead giveaway as well. After deducing the technique, Oni withdrew another kunai and stabbed his other thigh to release him from the illusion. As he broke the illusion, Oni noticed several kunais flying his way. –Insert Byakugan activation here- He withdrew the remaining kunai from his pouch and threw them towards his sensei’s.

A nice pair of flowerless illusions. Advantages of the first technique is that it requires only one hand seal which means it can be performed quickly. It also has a wider area of effect which could be helpful when the odds are stacked against the user. If the target is unable to deduce and falls asleep, then he is at the user’s mercy. Disadvantage wise, this technique is too obvious. Feathers randomly appearing and falling from the sky is a giveaway and no shinobi should just randomly start to feel drowsy in the midst of a battle unless they are drunk or have a disorder >.>

As far as the second technique, one could say that the advantages are that taking away a opponent’s sight can bring opportunity for a follow up with a quick jutsu, especially if within close range. Like the previous technique, this genjutsu is also capable of affecting multiple targets and can be produced with just one hand seal. Disadvantage wise is that all of the victims other senses remain intact which can be used to deduce the illusion. Also how the hell would everything get dark so quick?

Oni had it all right, he could finally master Genjutsu, as these were his last techniques. Dean though of cracking a simple joke as his last few words, and simply smirked thinking about it. Hopefully this guy had a sense of humor.

"Shit gets dark quick if you don't pay your electricity bills >,>"

Dean says jokingly as he throws the last two scrolls over towards Oni.

"Well, time to get a cheese burger and some gin. Gah, have fun with your new abilities. See you around, kid."

Dean walks into a dark portal he opens, and disappears without a trace.
