A good ninja needs brains and creativity as well. How else do you think you can create illusions to fool your opponent if youre not one step ahead of them? You also need good chakra control to be able to manipulate them into falling into the illusion.

Chakra
Chakra is what a ninja uses to perform ninja techniques, it is made up of spiritual and physical energies. There is a limited amount of chakra a each person can have in their body before they run out and it regenerates.
Chakra control
Chakra control is the process that a person must go through in order to perform a technique. ie Mould their chakra and perform hand seals and then perhaps clap or slam their hand upon the ground. A person with good chakra control can perform a technique with less chakra used than a normal ninja due to their greater degree of control.
Genjutsu
Genjutsu is the manipulation of your opponents mind to present a false reality. A genjutsu user will insert their chakra into their opponents brain through one of their fives senses, allowing them to manipulate almost any aspect of what their opponent believes is real. Limited only by the users intelligence and creativity.
Ninjutsu
Ninjutsu means ninja techniques and here on the base it is most often used to refer to techniques that require no nature manipulation.
Taijutsu
Taijutsu is stands for the basic hand to hand fighting that ninjas implement. Taijustu can refer to any of the many fighting styles and some ninjas specialise solely in Taijustu. Taijutsu also relates to the physical aspect of chakra.
Ninja tools
Ninja tools refer to the basic weapons and objects utlised in combat. They are most often used to augment jutsu and to set up the opponent for combos.
