( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.

A basic illusion that affects the opponent's basic sense of vision and affects slightly with the coordination of the opponent's body. This illusion only works on opponent's that are already moving. Essentially what this technique does it make an opponent who is running directly at you believe that you are still moving straight except they are actually moving around in circles. This is great when an opponent is trying to come at you to attack in short range, because this technique extends all the way up to mid-range, you can just use this technique to make your opponent believe that they are still coming at you except they will feel that they are not getting closer. Though in their mind they see straight, you manipulate their sense of direction that that they begin moving in circles over and over again thus not getting close to you at all. You can use this technique to create an opponent where you opponent does not realize that they have been trapped in the genjutsu until obviously after sometime in which they can see that they are no getting close to you, which will force them to get closer. In that brief time, you can attack them with another jutsu so they are forced to guard immediately after breaking out. If your opponent uses this one you, reason yourself on how you are no making distance, and break out. As displacement of position is the most important aspect of this tech.

-How the technique is performed. (which is basic for all techniques)
While the opponent is running straight towards you, you would insert their chakra into their brain to cast a genjutsu onto them. While in the genjutsu, the opponent will believe that they are still moving forward when in reality, they are moving in a curved manner, endlessly running in circles.

-What senses the genjutsu affects and how it affects them?
This genjutsu affects sight. It also affects how the enemy perceives their movement and the co-ordination between their brain and their body. The genjutsu disrupts and controls the messages that the opponent's brain gives their body. The opponent's mind will tell them that they are moving straight forward, but they are actually moving in circles. The opponent will be forced to believe that they are actually moving forward because that is what they can see.

-How the genjutsu creates an opening for the attack.
While the opponent is running in circles, they won't be able to face you properly to attack you or defend from attacks that you send. This means that you can send an attack at them and they will believe that it is coming straight at them but they are facing away from you so they will defend from the wrong direction and your attack will hit them (I hope that makes sense lol)

-In what situations would use it, if you would use it at all. Provide reasoning.
I would use it when I am trying to land a powerful hit on the opponent. This genjutsu would increase the chances of the jutsu hitting the opponent. Also, you could use it to keep the enemy from getting close to you.

( Genjutsu: Jinmon ) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

Sadly this technique has absolutely no use in the battle arena and has incredibly limited used in even the ninja world. I will not explain it much but I will explain what in does in general understanding. The technique simply makes the opponent give away valuable information by convincing the opponent that you are someone that the opponent can trust. Basically in the context of our RP, information cannot be given out like that in straight forward understanding. And in the battle arena information of this sort is essentially useless. It above that requires you to have physical contact and be in short range. I would not use this technique, if it is attempted then Nagashi is the basic counter.

First you would have to make physical contact with a stationary opponent, sending your chakra into them and casting a genjutsu. Using the genjutsu, you would convince the enemy to trust you by

-What senses the genjutsu affects and how it affects them?
The genjutsu probably affects the target's memory, manipulating their mind to make them think that you are not an enemy and that they can give you information.

-How the genjutsu creates an opening for the attack.
The genjutsu creates an opening for attack because the opponent won't be able to move while you are extracting the information from them

-In what situations would use it, if you would use it at all. Provide reasoning.
I would use it when I need to gain information about my opponent's abilities or motives. I would probably use it in the NW and not in the battle arena

( Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka ) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.

A genjutsu can't really get more basic then this. The user of the technique simply affects the opponent's vision. This technique keep in mind only affects the opponent's vision then they can be overcome with the fact that they are enveloped in fire which can cause some mental distress but it does not cause the opponent to feel like they are burning so it does not do that much mental damage, or enough mental damage to cause an opponent to faint. You will simply make an image of a fire ball above the opponent and it will seem as though the fire ball is coming from above. You can analyze this as a genjutsu by first questioning how the fire can randomly appear in the sky, as fire needs to be generated somehow. This will give you room to follow up with this as the reason it is an illusion because the fire originated without a physical source. After that, you can just stab yourself and break out. Use this technique mainly to make your opponent look up to distract them from possible attacks from below.

-How the technique is performed. (which is basic for all techniques)
After locking eyes with the opponent, you would send chakra into their brain and cast a genjutsu. The genjutsu would cause them to see a massive fireball descending onto them from the sky.

-What senses the genjutsu affects and how it affects them?
The genjutsu only affect sight and no other senses. It makes the opponent see a large fireball that is hurtling towards them. They don't feel any heat or make them feel like they are burning.

-How the genjutsu creates an opening for the attack.
The genjutsu creates an opening for attack because the opponent will obviously notice the fireball and try to do something about it. While they are paying attention to the fireball, you could prepare a jutsu, or you could use a quick attack on them. Also, the enemy might even try to defend against the fireball.

-In what situations would use it, if you would use it at all. Provide reasoning.
I would use it when I want to divert the enemy's attention away from me so I can attack them or prepare a jutsu. This is because the fireball is large so they would see it as a threat and also they would be confused because it just appeared in the sky. This would make them focus on the fireball and try to stop it.

( Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu ) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.

Another genjutsu that manipulates the opponent's vision. This genjutsu's basic action is to cause the opponent to believe that you have made a clone. The clone is obviously a figment of their imagination that you make them see.The clone then begins to run toward the opponent and jumps up into the air. Up until this point, the clone has done no strange actions. A such, the illusion should not be able to be easily discerned unless you physically test the clone by throwing a kunai at it and seeing if it passes through, or if you have a visual technique you can see the difference or you can sense the difference with sensing abilities. This is a great technique to use to trick your opponent into believing that you made a shadow clone or a great technique to combine with shadow clone jutsu to blend the illusion in with the real clones. But obviously you have to make sure that you know the opponent doesn't have a way to easily just break out of it. Once the clone gets close to the opponent you manipulate their vision further to cause the clone to explode and blind and confuse them with cherry blossoms. You can use this as a moment to attack. Because of the tricky nature of the technique since shadow clones are so common, you can analyze this technique by just exploiting the fact that the clone is an illusion and will just pass through physical objects. The once you determine that, you can break out.

After looking into the opponent's eyes, you would cast a genjutsu on them affecting their sight. In the illusion, they would see you create a clone that runs towards them and jumps into the air above them. Then, the clone explodes in a cloud of sakura petals that leave the opponent confused.

-What senses the genjutsu affects and how it affects them?
The genjutsu affects sight. It makes the opponent see you creating a clone and then the clone explodes in a shower of cherry blossom petals.

-How the genjutsu creates an opening for the attack.
You would attack the opponent while the clone explodes into the cherry blossom petals. The opponent wouldn't be able to see you because of the petals and also they would be confused by how the clone suddenly exploded into petals.

-In what situations would use it, if you would use it at all. Provide reasoning.
I would use it when I am trying to confuse the opponent or block their vision so I can attack them or prepare an attack. This is because the opponent wouldn't be able to see past the illusionary cloud of petals

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

This is a basic illusion that affects the way the opponent's sees the terrain. The main sense affected by this technique is sight. You cannot make the opponent feel certain aspects of the terrain such as making the ground rise up around them as that would exceed the capabilities of the technique. Each illusion has a limit to how much it can affect the opponent which is how it creates a certain opening. This technique use is used to manipulate the opponents sight of their surroundings to make it seem like everything around them had changed. Because this is a purely visual technique, an opponent with an eye technique able to see through it or a sensor, can brush it off like its nothing. When this technique is used, because the opponent sees the terrain differently, use it to your advantage to combine it with another attack or move. You can make an earth wall rise up skillfully to hide yourself from your opponents vision. If this is used against you, analyze the changes in terrain to detect whether they are possible or not.

Now, the important thing to remember about this genjutsu is to keep in mind what the first terrain was. For example, if the first terrain was a grassy field, then the illusion puts you in a desert, afterward once you break out of the first illusion you are in a forest, then you obviously know that something is up. Because logically you should be back in the grassy field, so this is one way that you can realize that the terrain has changed. Now there is one way you can ignore the layering completely, and that's by breaking out of both the same time. This is done by a strong enough pain or chakra surge to just break you out completely. You can use the genjutsu breaking guidelines to view ways to break out of it but the most simple way I would say is a stab to a minor muscle after determining the change in terrain. It is not a very useful technique to use personally, but I find it a fun and interesting technique just because you can change the surroundings to make it look like there is no water source, etc, but not much active use.

-How the technique is performed. (which is basic for all techniques)
After performing a sequence of three handseals, you would look into the opponent's eyes, sending a small amount of your chakra into the part of the brain that tells the eyes what they can see. You would then imagine a change in the terrain which the opponent would see because of the genjutsu. After this, you would send even more chakra into the opponent's mind, casting another illusion that changes the opponent's surroundings. The second genjutsu would lay dormant in the target's mind and would be activated when the first illusion is dispelled, a double-layered genjutsu.

-What senses the genjutsu affects and how it affects them?
It affects the opponent's sight and how the terrain appears to them. It can only change the battlefield or it's appearance and not any other feature. This means that the opponent won't be able to feel, hear etc any changes made by the genjutsu.

-How the genjutsu creates an opening for the attack.
There are many ways you could use this illusion that could create openings for an attack. You could make the opponent see large extensions of the terrain around them, obscuring their vision of you. Also, you could make them see strange/impossible things appear on the terrain which would make them confused and start to think about how it is possible.

-In what situations would use it, if you would use it at all. Provide reasoning.
I would use this when I am trying to create a opening for an attack. This is because it would take a while for the opponent to release both genjutsu and I could use the illusions to my advantage to try and land an attack on them

( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

A technique that takes advantage of the opponent's vision to distort how they perceive the natural world around them. The technique takes advantage of a simple waving motion to resemble a willow tree in the wind. The illusion basically works without hand seals but you do need to do the waving motion with your sword. When you wave the sword back and froth, alter the opponent's vision to make it seem as though there are multiple arms waving around in front of them. They will lose track of where you really are, which will give you the space to attack them with the opening that is creating. You can use this jutsu with a wind technique that enhances you blade so can increase the potency of your attacks. One thing to keep in mind is that this jutsu only goes up to short range so you must get close to your target. You can realize this a genjutsu either by figuring out why the multiple arms are appearing through reasoning or by chakra sensing which is the obvious one. Then just stab yourself to break out of it.

-How the technique is performed. (which is basic for all techniques)7
You would begin by swinging your sword back and forth, which would trigger the genjutsu. The opponent would see multiple arms waving in front of them, moving in a similar manner to a willow tree

-What senses the genjutsu affects and how it affects them?
The genjutsu affects sight and produces an illusion for the opponent to see with their eyes. It makes the opponent believe that there are multiple waving arms in front of them

-How the genjutsu creates an opening for the attack.
It creates an opening for an attack because the opponent would be distracted by the waving arms and try to defend from them. While the enemy is distracted, you would have the opportunity to attack them

-In what situations would use it, if you would use it at all. Provide reasoning.
I would use it when I want to land a strike with my sword. This is because the enemy would be paying attention to the illusion and I would be able to cut them down

( Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku ) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

A illusion that affects the opponents vision but this one also affects the opponent's sense of touch. The latter is the most important for this illusion to work. The illusion causes the opponent to believe that there are vines that rise out of the ground and ensnare the opponent. This illusion actually manipulates the opponent's sense of touch and cause them to believe that they are trapped in the vines. This is a great illusion to use in order to stop your opponent from attack. It is a solid genjutsu if used carefully and strategically, but not a great genjutsu if it is just spammed. The illusion will essentially allow you to stop the opponent and create a opening for an attack. Break out if it quickly because after it wraps around you, it'll be hard to break out. So stab yourself as soon as you see it come up. But you have state the reason for which you believe it is a genjutsu and that completely depends on the opponent's usage.

After sending your chakra into the opponent and performing the handseals Dog → Hare → Snake → Ram , you would put them in a genjutsu. Then, the opponent would see you disappear as several bean vines erupt from the ground. The vines wrap around the target, binding them while lifting them up into the air. The genjutsu affects sight and makes the opponent believe that there are multiple bean vines wrapping around them. Also, it might affect their sense of touch (don't know what it's called >_>) if the illusion makes them feel the bean vines

-How the genjutsu creates an opening for the attack.
While the opponent is immobilised by the illusion, you would be able to attack them

-In what situations would use it, if you would use it at all. Provide reasoning
I would use it when I'm trying to create an opening for an attack. This is because the opponent would think that they are being immobilised by the bean vines, which would leave them open for attack

( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

This one is similar to the previous one in that it affects vision and touch, but this also causes some pure mental damage if its succeed based on what you make the opponent believe happens. The user inserts their chakra into the opponent's brain and first manipulate the sense of sight, this causes the opponent to believe that a large flower encloses them and traps them on the inside. You affect their sense of touch by causing the flower bud to somewhat bind the opponent inside, then you make the opponent believe that it explodes. This causes enough mental damage to make them collapse, but only if they don't break out by this point. The same as the previous, use this to bind your opponent or trap them to prevent them from continuing their move. And you can use this opening to attack. Not necessarily a easy genjutsu to realize you are in because it just looks like a flower, but you can depending on the manner in which your opponent uses it. These "realistic" genjutsu more or less depend on how they are used, there is no one way to just figure out all the time.
