It is the moulding of the physical energy, present in every cell of the body and the spiritual energy. gained from exercise and experience. Once moulded, it can be channelled through the chakra circulatory system, which is to chakra as the regular circulatory system is to blood.

"Not every ninja has the skill or the brains to become a skilled Genjutsu user. Genjutsu is a very subtle art of manipulating what your Opponent perceives with his five senses. It involves spreading your chakra into your opponents chakra system and controlling what he perceives. In a genjutsu you have to give utmost importance to details, since any small detail can give away to your opponent that its a genjutsu."

You can also have a trap and make an illusion, manipulating the area and easily making the opponent fall into that trap.

Ok. 4 things.

• You don't need to make contact for this genjutsu, to spread chakra.
• Eye contact works very well in case of the sharingan.
• Wrong usage of this jutsu, you can only alter the surrounding terrain using this jutsu nothing more, nothing less.
• Shima and Fukasaku performed one powerful genjutsu, for which they had to sing in tandem. Which makes them one entity. More suitable responses were Kurenai yuhi and Shisui of the shunshin.

Give some better battle usage examples.

Okay what if you make the opponent think that the ground hasn't changed, but you use the the swamp of the underworld technique to sink them into the earth. Also making the opponent believe that the ground is shaking, when it's really not, thus giving you the opportunity to attack him because he would be distracted by the ground shaking.

"This ones pretty straightforward as well. Make one handseal and throw a paperbomb at me although you will simulataneously cast a genjutsu to affect my vision. In this case make me see that you create a clone who runs towards me."

Okay, now i truly understand.


1. I begin to gather my chakra and quickly perform five hand seals. Afterward i begin to release the chakra onto the clone, quickly controlling your sense of sight, the clone begins to see me dissolve into falling cherry blossom petals, which begin to surround the clone, blocking it's vision.

I'll try my best. Well by knowing where the clone was looking i was able to cast the genjutsu on him, knowing where the opponent is looking is pretty important. As he started to see the illusion of me dissolving into falling cherry blossoms, it started to surround the clone and then blocking it's vision. That would be a great chance to send a jutsu at it from a direction where i know his not looking at.

I have a question about this jutsu. Isn't this jutsu too unrealistic? xd Wouldn't the opponent detect this easily. Sorry if i don't make sense.

2. I perform one hand seal, i then begin to release my chakra onto you, causing an illusion of a clone that looks exactly like me, it starts running towards you, but in reality it's not a clone but a paperbomb trown by me. As the clone reaches to you, i make the paperbomb detonate, causing a small explosion.

1. It's not really unrealistic, if you see it in the backdrop of the Ninja world. I mean it could actually be a ninjutsu. And we already have a ninjutsu which creates effects partly similar to this.

Yeah so this time again you will affect the opponents vision. Making him see multiple clones rising from various places. This time though you have to layer your genjutsu with taijutsu in that you will have to match the movements of these illusionary clones yourself, by moving around quickly.

Yeah do exactly what the jutsu description says. Perform it on my clone. Kepp in mind that in most of these techniques we are only affecting the vision of the opponent nothing else.

I begin to gather chakra, once i feel the chakra flowing throught my body, i begin to channel it onto the clone. Affecting the clones vision, i force it to see whatever illusion i want. The clone begins to witness countless clones of myself appering from the ground, rocks, trees and the lake next to each other. I direct my clones to surround the clone and the clone becomes traumatized and it begins to attack one of my clones with it's fist and as it gets closer, i block my face with arm to cover it. As the clone tries to punch my clone it gets blocked. The clone continues to attack some of my clones, failing each time due to the clones blocking each of it's moves, to make sure they seem real.

Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. A Sage rank user can dispel Genjutsu up to S-Rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu. The technique can only be used once per turn and the user still needs to fully follow the logic as to why he figured out it was an illusion.

For this jutsu I want you to first practice stopping the chakra flow in your body for a short moment before making it spike through the body. After you have tried this a couple of times, I will put you under a genjutsu of A rank from which you should try to escape in a similar way.

Note: Although you can escape a genjutsu with this jutsu, it is necessary that you explain the understanding behind how you come to detect this as the genjutsu.

I begin by channeling my chakra onto the clone. Affecting the clone's vision, he begins to see a massive amount of clones of myself rising upwards from the ground. I direct the clones to surround your clone, directing the clones to attack your clone. Each time your clone attempts to attack one of the clones, they defend themselves by blocking and deflecting your clones attacks. Making sure that your clone doesn't realize that he is under a genjutsu.

I start to gather my chakra to start practicing on stopping my chakra flow. So first i perform one hand seal and then i focus on the flow of my chakra, disturbing my chakra flow, stopping it momentarily and spiking through out my body, unbalancing my chakra flow.

*Practices for about one hour"

Now assuming you put me under a genjutsu:

My vision was blocked and i smelled something burning and the area around me was getting warmer. No doubt i'm being attacked. so i start to gather chakra and i perform one hand seal by bringing my hands together. Disturbing my chakra flow by stopping it for a moment and then spiking it through my body. Unbalancing my chakra flow, this wakes me up and i see a giant fire ball coming to my direction and i dodge it before it hits me.
