*I focus on my chakra as it steadily flows through my chakra network. I make the two seals and have the speed of the flowing increase greatly at a rapid rate. I have the increase vary in speed and amount at different places in my chakra network, causing asured disruption.*
Mmm, actually, a Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank, an S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank, and a Sannin rank ninja (and above) can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank.
Remember that Kai requires a handseal and you cannot use it if your body is immobilized by the Genjutsu. So in the case where you can't move your hands or feet, how would you get out of a Genjutsu?
( Genjutsu: Kai ) - Illusion Technique: Release
Rank: C-A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 15-30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user does one hand seal to focus and then proceeds to disturb his chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then "spiking" his spiritual energy, unbalancing his chakra. This dispels any genjutsu set upon the user except MS Eye Techniques, Paralysis-like Genjutsu and Demonic Illusion: Toad Confrontation Chant. The effectiveness of this technique is dependent upon the skill of the user. A Jounin rank ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to C-rank. An S-class ninja can dispel Genjutsu up to B-rank. A Sannin rank ninja (and above) can dispel Genjutsu up to A-rank. The user may use this technique through physical contact on others to dispel them from Genjutsu.
This next jutsu was used in the Chunin exams. When my clone begins walking, send your chakra to him and have him believe he is walking in a straight line, thus proceeding.
In reality, he is walking in circles.
Describe the psychological impact of this.
*I use my chakra to place an illusion on the clone. In his mind, he is walking in a straight line. However, as he walks, I have what he perceives as straight in front of him. However, he still believes he is walking in one line. This causes him to walk around in circles.*
I don't know about psychological effects. Wouldn't the clone just get tired and exhausted?
Yes, he would, especially he has been traveling for a long time. We burn our energy and enervate our muscles - those are examples of psychological effects. Genjutsu, if I haven't mentioned this earlier before, is a lot like a psychological warfare.
( Kori Shinchū no Jutsu ) - Sly Mind Affect Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion on the opponent that makes them believe they are travelling in a straight line, when instead they are moving in circles. This is only effective on moving opponents. If the opponent travels in the circle for hours, they will be exhausted.
This next jutsu is pretty straightforward.
Release your chakra from your body to take over my clone's five senses.
Then have him believe that a huge ball of fire is coming from the sky, ready to burn him into a crisp!
*I channel my chakra into the clone and put him in an illusion. In the illusion, I manipulate his senses so he experiences a fireball jutsu coming at him. I manipulate his sense of hearing by having him hear the sound of crackling flames. I manipulate his sense of touch by having him feel the heat of the fire on his skin as it comes at him. Finally, I manipulate his sense of touch further by having him feel the fire burn his flesh as it touches his body.*
Very good. Let's discuss Genjutsu a little further now.
There's something called cause and effect in battles. For example, you used a Wind Jutsu to blow away the explosive tag, thus, I can follow up with a prepared fire move to disregard your Wind Jutsu, so that it overcomes it and is sent back at you two times stronger.
By taking the upper hand, you can juggle your opponent around and have them react the way you want to, as we are all forced to make moves and survive in a battle. This is most often used in chess, where it is necessary to be able to predict several moves ahead of the opponent.
Excellent. Keep in mind that dropping lid also works.
( Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka ) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.
Now, proceed to take over my clone's five senses once more.
Have him believe that you have just created a clone, and that very clone is walking towards him. However, when he gets close, he suddenly jumps, exploding into a cloud of cherry blossom petals.
Describe the impact of this and the purpose of surprising your opponent.
*I focus my chakra into the clone and create an illusion. Using the illusion, I take control of the clone's five senses. I make him see me create a clone. I then make him the clone run over. I manipulate his sense of hearing to make him hear the clone's footsteps. As my fake clone gets near your clone, I have my fake clone jump up. The fake clone then bursts into a swarm of petals. I manipulate your clone's sense of smell so that he smells the petals. However, the smell isn't strong enough to snap him out of the Genjutsu.*
Honestly, picturing this jutsu in my head, it's ridiculous. To have a clone rush towards someone and then the clone jumps up and turn into flower petals is absurd. And that's when it hit me. This thing is so absurd, no one would expect someone to do it. Since they don't expect it to happen but it happens, it will leave whoever is in the jutsu by surprise. They will be confused. In their moment of confusion, they lose concentration. Since they are confused, distracted and have lost concentration, I can follow up with an attack. The affected person would be too confused and distracted to react properly, leaving them vulnerable.
LOL. "It's absurd!" xD I grinned when I read that.
Good, good, let's emphasize on your whole keypoint in your paragraph, which is the aspect of surprise. There are two main things in surprising people, whether it be in Genjutsu or some other type of art.
-Surprising people is basically catching them off guard, and it inflicts shock, which makes them vulnerable for usually a short amount of time, and in that moment, allows you to pull off moves.
-Surprising people can also be a short timeframe in your moves, as your opponent is human and has feelings, and should react to your jutsus. Hesitation and shock usually give you time to plan and think.
Keep that in mind, Rikerslade. ^_^
( Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu ) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.
O_O LOL.
Alright, begin swinging it in a repetitive manner in front of my clone, in order to "hypnotize" him.
What are some psychological effects of this?
*I take the sword out of it's sheath. I hold in front of me of in one hand. I then grasp it with my other hand. I then begin to make strokes with the sword, swinginh over to my left, then to my right. I go back and forth, repeating this motion. In response, the clone becomes focused on the sword, watching it as it swings back and forth, securing his undivided attention on the sword and its motion.*
Well, at first, the clone would be tense, preparing for an attack. After a while, he would become focused on the sword. This would be an opportunity to attack from below with a jutsu like Earth Spikes because they wouldn't be focusing or thinking about the possibility of an attack from below.
( Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi ) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.
Again, take over all five senses of my clone.
Then, cause him to believe that you have disappeared (like fading into invisibility). Next, have vines grow from the ground and immobilize him as you rise once more on a bean pod, ready to strike...
*I use my chakra to place the clone in an illusion. I use the illusion to take control of and maniplate his five senses. First, I manipulate his sight. I make him see my body grow blurry at first. Then, I have him see my body vanish bit by bit, as though I disappeared. I manipulate his other four senses so they don't detect me. I then further manipulate his sight and hearing so that he hears and sees multiple vines shoot out from the ground below and around him at high speed. I manipulate his sense of touch so he feels the vines wrapping around his arms, legs, throat, abdomen and torso. This holds him in place and renders him unable to move. I then make him see a vine with a large pea pod lower down in front of him. I make him see the pea pod open and my body coming out of it.*
Excellent. This plays on the concept of creativity in my opinion, as most people do not expect a realistic portrayal of Jack from the Beanstalk. xd
Proceed to finish off my clone in any way you wish.
