Genjutsu with Akihiko-Sensei

As a scientist, I am interested in learning about the human mind, and how it works. Also, I have seen Itachi Uchiha's way of defeating his opponent, without even lifting a finger, and I want to archive this level. Finally I'm interested in the Kurama clan's ability 
From what I've heard around, it seems to be by sending a chakra signal to affect their chakra system. As the opponent's chakra is disturbed, it affects his ability to perceive, and makes him see illusions, that they perceive as reality. What I do is to visualise what I want the opponent to perceive, and then send a chakra signal to their body, containing the information I just visualized. Sending the signal can be done by eye contact, sound or even other means like hand seals.
Excellent. You basically send your chakra into their system and manipulate their five senses.

From previous battles I have experianced, I know this methodes work.
A) When I am aware I am in a genjutsu, or suspect I am in one, I have to harm myself, in order to feel pain. Pain will stabilise my chakra, and help me concentrate into what is real.
B) A Full body chakra source. When not binded inside the genjutsu, I usually use "Raito: illusion of flash pillar" in order to have my body enveloped in my chakra. This stabilises my chakra as well. It can work with any "full body surge" jutsu, like opening the 8 inner gates, activating biju mod, raikage armor etc. There is also a jutsu specifically for that purpose called "kai" or "genjutsu release".
C) An other method is, when an ally perceives you are under a genjutsu, they can insert some chakra to your body, which will also stabilise your chakra.
D) Finally, a sensor skill might help you understand your chakra is disturbed, which is essential in order to break out of a genjutsu (to solve a problem, you first have to know it is there). For example, the Sharingan can break out of genjutsu according to their level of tomoe, and will see chakra, enabling the user to say if someone is under a genjutsu.

Α) I can stab myself to the hand or knee, or bite my lip. I think anything will work, as long as it's not fatal...
C) I think everyone can insert their chakra to an other to liberate them? If not, I guess it's medic nin then? Jinchurikis can have their chakra disturbed by activating Biju Mode (full body chakra surge) or by having their biju communicate with their consciousness, which will snap them out, as the Biju will insert some of it's chakra to the Jinchiriki.

[I focus to my chakra flow, and send some of it towards Sensei. As my chakra is inserted to his chakra system, I visualise a volcano, and that Sensei is stepping on a rock surrounded by lava. The heat from the lava (in the virtual image) makes everything blurry and distorted. The volcano has a small island in the middle, and, as the lava rises, the vegetation (coconut trees mainly) is burned slowly by the lava. Smoke is coming from the lava. I am on the island, waving to Sensei]

Haha, anyways, great job! Now I'll introduce to you an important concept of Genjutsu.
This is known as cause and effect.. and can also be applied in all your battles. For example, you used a Wind Jutsu to blow away the explosive tag, thus, I can follow up with a prepared fire move to disregard your Wind Jutsu, so that it overcomes it and is sent back at you two times stronger.
By taking the upper hand, you can juggle your opponent around and have them react the way you want to, as we are all forced to make moves and survive in a battle. This is most often used in chess, where it is necessary to be able to predict several moves ahead of the opponent.
Now, how might you apply this to the jutsu we just learned?

-I love chess ^_^. Well, I could, for example use it to make it seem like my opponent is surrounded by explosive tags flying around him, to prevent him from using Katon, so that I could follow with a futon. Or make it seem like we are in thick mist, so my opponent would not see me well, wile I would see him perfectly...

Now, proceed to take over my clone's five senses once more and have him believe that you have dissolved into many cherry blossom petals. Have those very petals surround him, blocking his vision and tell me why this is significant.

I send chakra to the clone, and program it to make him see me dissolving into sakura petals. The, the (imaginary) petals start flying towards him, surround him and block his vision. This jutsu is very useful to conseal my movements, as the opponent won't see me anymore. Then, the opponent will only see chary blossoms, so he won't see any incoming jutsu, and will be unable to defend against them.
