*enters upon the windy day quietly*
It's actually not Windy. O_O It's actually snowy. *seconds later, snow begins to fall*

Seems like you've been trapped in my Genjutsu. Well, let's begin...so why do you want to learn Genjutsu?

Snow...snow...snow?! AHHHH SNOWWW!!!

First I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Alexander Akimichi. You've recently trained my cousin Xanxus, hes from the Uchiha clan, and he told me a lot of good things about you ^_^

Well from what I've read in fights genjutsu depending on the ones you use, are a very good way to build up deadly combinations. There are some that can even physically paralyze the target while they believe they are trapped or are seeing some type of false image. This small gap of time gives the user a perfect window to attack right afterwards, increasing the chances of success. Another I would like to learn genjutsu is because I believe that someday I will finish activating and completing my sharingan and so I think I require regular ninjutsu before learning sharingan genjutsu. =D

O_O A different dude I see.

Ah, an excellent response. A great emphasis on the creative aspects of the Genjutsu, where your own limits are your own imagination.
And if I ever get Sharingan training done myself...*sigh* I'll teach it you. :| Dam Minato.

Alright, so to begin with, how do you inflict someone with Genjutsu?

Okay :)

You first manipulate your own chakra and release it outwards. You then insert it into the opponent's brain and disrupt his own chakra flow, allowing you to take control of his senses.

Excellent. So now that you know how they are inflicted, how would you get out of a Genjutsu?
Name as many ways you can think of.

#1 - Releasing a full body surge of chakra to overthrow the opponent's chakra and "flush" it out with a stronger chakra. For example if I am placed in a B ranked illusion I could release a full body nagashi and flush out the chakra, releasing me from the genjutsu.

#2 - Foreign chakra surge, from a partner. The most common way is from a biju or samehada/summoning.

#3 - The second most used method, pain; Pain is used in most cases when the illusion is not physically paralyzing. The sudden sting of pain would "reset" the user's chakra flow and allow the external chakra to be released. Depending on the rank of the genjutsu the user will require a greater amount of pain to release the illusion.

1. Excellent, though I prefer pain because Nagashi takes up a jutsu slot.
2. Your own Shadow Clones count too.
3. Well done. Pain is indeed the strongest emotion.

Alright, missing a lot. What is one particular jutsu created to "release" you from Genjutsu?
Also which Doujutsus are these ineffective on and why?

Well I've been noticing a lot of body restricting genjutsu so it makes it really hard to induce pain.

I'm so stupid I can't believe I forgot about the kai technique -_-... Kai or also known as release, is a technique that allows the user to disrupt his own chakra flow by completely stopping it for a second and "revamping" it sort of speak. Depending on the tomoe of a sharingan, it is able to "pierce" through the illusion and thus causing it to be ineffective in the long run. I also believe that the mangekyo genjutsu are very very strong and hard to release from.

Excellent. xD We will go over this in more detail as we progress.
So, now proceed to send your chakra out towards me and disrupt my chakra flow.
Make me believe I am somewhere else, not standing at a training field teaching Hard. O_O

Understood ^_^

I quickly send out my chakra outwards and make it travel towards your location, aimed for your head. I then insert my chakra into your brain and disrupt your flow, allowing me to take control of it.(To a certain extent). I then take control of your senses and make you see yourself standing in a beautiful island surrounding by palm trees, while I'm enjoying myself at the shore of the beach.

Come join me sensei!

Well you can with me! xd

What a certain illusion would cause to the opponent, and thus producing an effect?

Exactly.
So now try that by manipulating my five senses in any way you wish causing me to react and then counter my counter with your counter. xD

I quickly insert my own chakra into your brain and disrupt your flow, allowing me to cast you within an illusion. In this illusion you will see myself releasing a water sphere about medium in size, similar to our most common fire ball techniques. As it heads your way, you'd most likely react by either releasing a fire technique, or a wind technique. In reality I've already released a wide spread wall of flames which would be equivalent to S rank, allowing me to drown out any wind you'll release as well as any decently good fire technique. Depending on your own fire technique rank my technique will either continue or cancel each other out. After releasing the fire, I'd most likely rise spikes underneath you, accounting for the fact that my previous technique will either continue or cancel out, my underneath assault would be most beneficial.

Pinpoint perfect. ^_^
( Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu ) - Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 10 (+5 if you use it double)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion over an area that allows him to manipulate the way an area looks to fool an opponent. He can only change the way the terrain looks, and not any other feature.
Have I taught you about handseals? >.>

Am I still able to create the fire ball illusion and stuff with this technique sensei? Also, if I use the +5 chakra to make it double, would it up the rank of the technique to a C rank illusion? D + D = C rank.

Handseals? No we haven't gone over those :p

Not sure about the + part, but not many people read that in Genjutsu because you can only learn up to A-Rank. I've learned from Scorps though that a slash on the wrist with a kunai is good enough to release you from a S-Rank Genjutsu though.

So, what do you know of handseals in general then? xD

Oh okay, thank you ^_^

Well to try and put it in the simplest way possible, its like mixing different ingredients to cook a perfect meal. Once those ingredients have been used the outcome will be a success. In other words, once the correct sequence of hand seals are performed, the technique will be created.

O_O Cooking to become a perfect meal...nice comparison.
So, the more mastery someone has over one jutsu, it takes them less handseals to perform it.
But let's go a little further. Say you had a jutsu that required two handseals but your opponent's required five. How does this affect your battle?
