*Standing in front of my opponent I notice as a clone that resembles him appears out of nowhere. This confuses me but I quickly pay attention to the clone as it starts to run towards me but then the clone jumps and explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which to me seems weird as I fully know that a shadow clone cannot explode into cherry blossoms. With this I come to the conclusion that my opponent has placed me under his illusion, first of all he didn't perform a single hand seal and second of all the clone exploded into a cloud of cherry blossom petals which is impossible so to release myself from my opponent's illusion I perform a single hand seal this disrupts my chakra flow by forcefully stopping it momentarily and then spiking my spiritual energy, unbalancing my chakra and thus releasing me from my opponent's illusion*

My opponent stands mid range from me and so to start off with my move I perform the clone hand seal which is fake but I do this as I send raw chakra towards my opponent placing him under my illusion. Under this illusion my opponent sees as a clone appears next to me, he shouldn't notice that easily that I used a genjutsu for the simple fact that I performed a hand seal. My opponent charges towards my opponent and once he is close to him, the clone jumps and explodes in a cloud of cherry blossoms petals that start to fall off from the air and once they start falling they start to block my opponent's vision which should leave him open for any attack I want to perform.
After successfully placing my opponent under my illusion I exert my chakra around my body parts, thanks to this I can kill out any sound I make as I move towards my opponent with great speed. I am able to do this because the petals block his vision. As I move behind my opponent making no sound whatsoever I grab a kunai from right pocket and I exhale wind chakra into it, increasing it's sharpness I stab my opponent from behind and in the neck killing him.

I'm assuming you mean "back of the neck", since you are behind him? And the taijutsu technique is a good choice. It'll be more quiet than 95% of elemental techniques. Although since you are not Tsuande/Hashirama/anyone else with advanced strength, the strike isn't going to break bones or anything like that. It'll hurt, yes, but it won't kill.

Remove a sword you have strapped on you somewhere in order to trigger the illusion. To do this, wave it back in forth in the air as you extend your chakra into my clone. This will make him see the illusion of a bunch of different arms waving back and forth? In what genre of fighting is this technique best utilized?
*After listening to the instructions I grab my sword from my left hip. After doing that I start to gather raw chakra and send it into the sword, I follow up a slight second after to wave the sword back and forth as I hold with my right hand. I continue to do that same movement as I send the raw chakra into your clone, placing him under my illusion. Under this illusion, the clone sees as a large amount of arms wave at him back and forth nonestop.
I would say taijutsu since it's a short ranged technique. The waving arms should cause confusing, allowing me to strike and surprise my target with some taijutsu.

Four handseals to inject chakra and disrupt your opponent's sense of sight. You'll "disappear" and the victim will be bound by bean vines, lifting them up in the air. A pod with you in it then emerges, allowing you to apply the killing blow. Of course, this is all an illusion and it just immobilizes them.

Channeling my raw chakra, I expel it through my pores and slowly into my opponent's brain. I then use the chakra to disrupt the brain's chakra flow and control it to my bidding. In his mind, the opponent will see my entire body fade, and as soon I disappear from sight, multiple tendrils will protrude from the ground and grab hold of my opponent, lifting him into the air. A pod slowly appears as I sprout out, dealing the finishing blow. However in reality, the opponent is immobilized, still and quiet.
Well you can use your sight to find out what's going on. Some guy who can magically disappear and make tendrils of vine to grow is a clear sign that "hey this shit is a genjutsu"

If you're fighting a wood release user, that becomes more difficult, because they're more likely to be able to manifest vines that look like wood (or is it the other way around? xd).
Also, rely on your sense of smell and touch. Vines have a plant-like smell and a leafy/leathery texture; the illusion only affects your sense of sight. If you don't smell or feel these things, you can break out of it with that knowledge.
Let's try a concrete example using that principle I just went over. Reason yourself out of this one and break out of it with the appropriate level of pain/jutsu!

The training grounds was instantly reduced into a large flower bud closing in on me. Finding myself trapped, I first examine the situation I am in right now. Touching the flower bud, I was able to come up with a conclusion that this was only a mere illusion, as buds have a specific texture, and it wasn't the same with this one. Using my chakra, I stop my chakra momentarily as I spike it, disrupting the chakra flow and flushing out the foreign chakra messing with me.

I watched the man five handseals, and he appeared to dissolved into mist. I felt completely immobilized, and a fast-growing tree was wrapping around me rendering me unable to move. By touching the tree around me, I could tell I was in a genjutsu. There are four ways to break a genjutsu pain, having a bijuu and or partner, and kai. I had no partner, neither bijuu nor human, and I wanted to know how to break it without kai, so I reached into my pockets and pulled out my shuriken, I made a small cut, but enough to cause me some pain, but no real damage. After I had completed that I saw snakes appear beneath me and begin to constrict me. This also must be a genjutsu, but I noted it was in my taste and useful for immobilizing opponents. I bit my thumn and once again, was able to break my opponents genjutsu. Afterwards I saw purple flowers float upwards they caused me a great deal of stress, and I was once again paralyzed. I knew by now this man was attempting another genjutsu but I was so sure, I reached my hand out to touch the flowers and was assured that it was in fact a genjutsu. I pulled out a kunai and cut the back of my ear slightly and broke the last genjutsu.
The pain applications are fine, but I want you to be a little more descriptive. Just because you touch a tree doesn't mean you can figure out it's a genjutsu. Be sure to point out the "mistake" in the illusion for your descriptions, ok?
