Ways to counter this technique
Yes sensei.
Strong points
Weak points
- This technique can be used to distance one's self from their opponent, by the gust of wind being strong enough to force them back. The strength of the wind could be used to not only force your opponent back away from you, but it could push them into objects like a rock or a tree, or get you out of range of a jutsu you may be in range of (primarily close or mid ranged)
- The dust this jutsu could pick up from preforming this jutsu could also cloud the sight of your opponent, giving you the opprotunity to get out of sight and used ambush based attacks (if that's your game plan) or escape from a situation you feel is out of your immediant range of thinking. Also the diversion it could play for the moment, blinding your opponent could give you the immediant go ahead to follow through with another jutsu that they wouldn't expect.
- Lastly, this jutsu comes in handy for deflecting and enhancing projectiles. When in terms of your opponent throwing projectiles towards you, you could use this jutsu, the gust of wind, being stronger then the natural strength of a shinobi's thrust in throwing projectiles like basic kunai or shuriken, would force them back towards one's opponent or simply render their attack towards you uselses by neutralizing the velocity at which it travels and they'll fall to the ground prematurely. In terms of you throwing your own projectiles, shooting your gust of wind in conjunction with the direction of your projectiles would increase the speed of the weapons and also how much force is behind them, meaning they head quicker to your opponent (harder to evade) and if they hit, the force behind it will cause more damage (via deeper wounds from penetration).
Combinations-strategies Primarily I see this jutsu as being a great use with simple projectiles like shuriken or kunai. You could toss your weapons and the wind traveling in conjunctin could add speed and penatration power. You. Also a wind-fire combination, using a fire based jutsu (if you have the training that is) and then using this jutsu to enhance the potency and range of the flames. However if both jutsu exhale from the mouth, this jutsu may need to be used by another party such as a shadow clone or summon. I could also see this technique useful for getting off the ground, shooting the flow of wind dowards and that could set you up for an arial attack to use against your opponent.
- For larger projectiles like fuma Shuriken or anything with a greater density, the wind may have a harder time deflecting them if thrown by your opponent.
- Since this is a relitave lower level jutsu, any fire technique would be able to make it's way through the winds and that would be an easy counter for this jutsu as well.
- Also considering the territory, if in a territory where there is a lot of dust. When this jutsu is preformed, just as you could use it as cover for another attack or an escape, your opponent could use it in the same way. The dust being between the two of you (if enough is gathered that is) could block your sight of your opponent, which is always a flaw that could be used against you.
Ways to counter this technique Using a fire jutsu to force through the flames, making it useless, or using a more powerful wind technique to render their winds useless and also to dispell the sand/dust. Also a jutsu of any kind that could provide a mass of movement in the opposite direction with strong enough force to combat the winds like a powerful/large flow of water or large amounts of earth (via earth jutsu) that would prove to be to dense for the winds to move, also if the earth is moving at it's own velocity towards their opponent, the winds could be useless. Also blocking the winds with some sort of barrier works just as good too.

Tori!
*I make the bird seal and I begin to inhale through my nose. I breath in from my diaphram, feeling the wind chakra deep inside my body. I feel the flow channeling from my diaphram into my lungs and I exhale through my mouth. The air coming out of my mouth, fused with my chakra creates a gust of wind, gathering the minirals from the ground (the dust) and creating a large gust of dusty wind, which disperses from a steady stream into the air after s certian distance*
Sensei is this good? ^^
I hope Reborn doesn't mind me stealing his place. It was foreseen, I am an Iwarian.
Strong points
Weak points
- Well lets start with the most basic string point of this technique, the technique is a highly compressed orb of water, the key word here is compressed, meaning the space is tightly packed with water molecules thus giving it an amazing density and speed. The orb itself somewhat receives the property of a bullet, thus giving it a title of rain bullet.
- A very, very interesting point in the jutsu that i managed to point out is that this technique says; "user will be knocked back", if you notice that part it is one of the most amazing use of this low ranked jutsu. What if something requires you to push yourself back, and channeling chakra into the ground is not possible to bring pillars or likes. This jutsu can be shot in one direction and due to its compressed space property it exerts equally opposite force at the user thus sending him backwards, can be used to dodge certain jutsus or avoid direct hits.
- Last but not the least is the main purpose of this justu, the two actions that states the main offensive side of it; "If it hits the enemy the enemy will be sent away flying or unbalanced." It can have two effects, one is it may send the opponent flying away AS user flies back too, and given the range as short it can be a good way to increase distance between the two ninjas. Second is throwing the opponent off-balance and using it to develop a counter position and get hold of the battle.
Combinations-strategies; A very amazing combination strategy is using it as a distraction or use as speed boost in a freeform battle. So, what if my character needs a sudden boost, I release the jutsu on the ground facing back, I then turn around slicing or performing a free form action move. But not only that, lets look at another way, it can be used as some jutsu that attacks the user from behind, so this justu can be used to lure the opponent or push them back to that certain location to attack from the back.
- Well, like everyone else I noticed the rank as a weak point. Event with all those uses a weak technique is a weak technique. Its given rank is D, thus making it the lowest, so even a direct hit won't be enough to sieze the victory in the battle, however it may give more opportunities to attack, but that does not change the fact that it is the lowest possible rank. (excluding E)
- The range, the second weakness is that its range is way too limited. Although I found that fact absurd because it seems to be a compressed ball like bullet, it should be at-least midrange to fully use it to your advantage, but since it isn't it can only be used in close range, and will fail if used at distance of mid/long. It can be used as a supplement way of throwing yourself back even if it doesn't reaches the opponent.
- The third and last weak point is the advantage I stated earlier, it can also back fire; "the user will be knocked back", the technique has a condition of high pressure forces on either side, so what if you do not want to change your position, no matter what you try you have to make sure your stability stays unaffected when using this technique.
Ways to counter this technique; A very easy and fun counter against this technique is earth shields and earth pillar. To make a dramatic fight one can use a simple shield or cover the body part that is being attacked. There is another earth technique which not only adds an armor but also increases your Taijutsu skills, but since its heavy it decrease users speed, but since its heavy it may be able to counter the pressure of this rain technique.
Blizzard after completely describing the technique, he closes his eyes, and gathers the spirit that he had earned in the past long hours of meditation, using his mastery over wind and water he gathers both elements, water to form the orb and wind to compress it to such level that its compression forms a very high density water orb/ bullet, he then aims for the tree that stood infront of him, keeping a constant chakra supply in the orb and having ful control over the orb's shape using chakra manipulation he extends his arms and releases a sudden pressured chakra behind the orb to make it act and fire as a bullet, its strength so amazing that tears the ree back bending it and making it roots sprout out of the ground, while Blizzard had his feet dragged backwards scraping the soil which helped him balance his heel on the ground. "Phew that was fun."
OOC: Splendid. No questions Sensei, I remember using this when I trained with Oraan
I want you to focus your chakra inside my clone's head whilst performing the snake hand seal followed by a hand seal specific to this technique. Once the clone is placed under the illusion, you will manipulate his senses, causing him to see himself being trapped inside a large flower bud. The bud explodes shortly after. The clone would believe feel himself collapsing against the floor as he is "injured" by the explosion, resulting in mental damage from the stress.( Magen: Hanarasui ) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.
Wonderful reply, I am very pleased with it ^_^*Channeling my chakra into Mathias's clone to cause him to see an illusion where a flower emerges from directly below him, swallowing him whole and trapping him inside the flower. As soon as I do this, I cause the flower bud to explode violently, putting an intense amount of stress on your clone's mind, due to experiencing the illusionary explosion.*
Strong points
Weak points
- Unlike most illusionary techniques, this genjutsu deals enough mental stress to the opponent to cause actual pain to register in the opponent's body.
- The Genjutsu must be broken before the flower bud explodes to prevent being put in a vulnerable position. This puts a time constraint on anyone dealing with the technique.
- This technique cannot be broken with reasoning that says "Only Hashirama/Yamato had Wood Release", since thanks to Passion, Plant Release exists in our RP.
Combinations-strategies
- Being only a B-Rank, this technique is limited in how many senses it can affect. Its likely the bud doesn't produce any growing sounds as it emerges from the ground, nor will it produce any smell(s).
- Like you said, this doesn't immobilize him in anyway, allowing the user to counter with a fairly small dose of pain (could be a freeform counter to your technique).
- -The technique is a B-Rank in power which doesn't paralyze. The pain release method could be used without inflicting too much damage to your opponent, making this technique a distraction at best.
-Always use this technique in a grassy/woodland area, any other terrain would be easily realized. If you use this whilst standing on a water source, it would be milliseconds for your opponent to realize its a gen and so break it before the bud can explode.
-Ideally use this with a bio such as Hashirama/Yamato or somehow acquire a Plant-like element and display such abilities before you use this technique. It'll make the technique that much more believable and so more difficult to realize.
Ways to counter this technique
This technique should ideally be countered before the bud explodes, but in certain situations, it can be allowed to progress.
1) Using inconsistency about the bud not producing any growing sounds would mean this technique can be realized early on. Nagashi, Stone spikes to inflict pain, Kai, a kunai and etc. This technique doesn't limit you in the slightest of which method of release could be used.
2) "Releasing without realization". Its common knowledge that plants/wood release are elements which have a weakness to Lightning. Using a technique like Nagashi and stating "I use nagashi to halt the plant's growth" could be entirely possible, but a doubtful method and one I personally wouldn't use.
3) I used the following counter once. I reacted to the growing bud by releasing one/two of my masks in order to break through the bud trying to constrict me. I noticed that my mask felt no resistance in passing through the bud, almost like they phased right through and the images superposed on one another. This let me know that the technique was an illusionary one since its effects didn't manifest in reality. From this knowledge I simply, attacked my opponent with my clones whilst I recovered from the mental stress. I let the whole Genjutsu progress since it seems to break itself due to the damage caused by it.
Yet another plant/nature related technique. I want you perform the necessary five hand seals whilst you focus your chakra and release it outwards into my clone's brain. You will proceed by disrupting my clone's chakra flow, placing him within an illusion where he sees yourself dissolve into a mist. While in reality, you make your way toward's my clone's short range from behind as a "tree" grows behind the clone, binding him in place with you appearing from within the tree to attack/interrogate him.( Magen: Jubaku Satsu ) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.
Job well done.*Channeling my chakra into your clone, i begin implanting a specific illusion into his mind. On doing so, he begins to see several vines wrapping his body, completely preventing his mobility and paralyzing him in reality. Hence afterwards, your clone sees me rise out of a bean pod equipped with twin swords, where I jump towards him and slash in an X-like formation to take off his head in the most painful manner possible*
Strong points
Weak points
- Paralyzes the opponent, diminishing possible methods of releasing this genjutsu. If you can predict their method of release, you can eliminate such a possibility in your original move e.g. Gushing Water to prevent Nagashi.
- This technique cannot be broken with reasoning that says "Only Hashirama/Yamato had Wood Release", since thanks to Passion, Plant Release exists in our RP.
- N/A
Combinations-strategies
- Being only a B-Rank, this technique is limited in how many senses it can affect. Its likely the bud doesn't produce any growing sounds as it emerges from the ground, nor will it produce any smell(s).
- All of the inconsistencies associated with the technique make it painfully easy to realize. Dissolving into mist and trees which produce no sounds when they grow is highly suspicious stand alone.
- Factoring in five handseals into the heat of a battle won't happen more often that not. This is either a match opener or a distraction at best.
-One different thing from the previous technique is the fact the user dissolves into mist. If you have a way of concealing your presence whilst using this technique e.g. Hidden Mist, the initial stage of dissolving into mist will never occur, making this technique slightly harder to realize.
Ways to counter this technique
1) Combining all of the inconsistencies e.g. the lack of growing sounds and the opponent dissolving into mist creates a solid case for why you realized the Genjutsu. However, being easily realized means its difficult to physically release. The Genjutsu prevents you from using your body to break it e.g. Kai or unsheathing a weapon to stab into your body. Ideally a full body surge of C-Rank stone spikes is the way to go in breaking such techniques.
2) "Releasing without realization". Its common knowledge that plants/wood release are elements which have a weakness to Lightning. Using a technique like Nagashi and stating "I use nagashi to halt the plant's growth" could be entirely possible, but a doubtful method and one I personally wouldn't use.
A nice and very strategic-like technique. I want you to place my clone under an illusion by regular means. You will cause my clone to see snakes appear beneath him, quickly beginning to constrict his movement, thereafter crushing him due to the snake's immense binding strength.( Genjutsu: Oshitsubusu Hebi Kubire ) - Illusion Technique: Crushing Snake Constriction
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user puts the opponent into a genjutsu which has snakes appear beneath the opponent to constrict them and with the users command, they crush the opponent. In reality, the opponent is immobilized and takes damage due to the stress on his mind.
OOC: Likewise..Sorry about the late reply >_<
*Focusing my chakra into your clone's mind, I cause him to see an illusion of multiple snakes appearing beneath his position, which promptly race up your body and bind you in place, leaving you paralyzed in reality.*
Strong points
Weak points
- They appear beneath the opponent, making it hard to use arguments such as "poofing into the arena". They could of burrowed underground at an earlier stage, destroying this type of reasoning entirely
- The genjutsu paralyzes, limiting the ways the opponent can counter.
- N/A
Combinations-strategies
- The snakes will phase through any objects/weapons the user tries to use on them, making the two images superpose and the Genjutsu instantly realized.
- The snakes will not interact with the environment after they bind you, meaning they won't react to or do anything in the slightest.
- The use of this genjutsu would fail in certain terrains e.g. on water or in a muddy area as the snakes won't be covered in mud, leading the genjutsu to be realized.
-Tactical use of grassy terrains and similar locations
-Showcase that you have the snake contract
-Send an actual snake underground and cause it to rise in time with the illusionary ones
Ways to counter this technique
"Releasing without realization", using Nagashi and stating it was used to paralyze the snakes, freeing you of their hold, when in reality its used to break the Genjutsu.
Angling a stone spike towards your chest (where the snakes are), using it to strike into them but leave you unscathed. The moment you're even slightly wounded, prevent the stone spikes from impaling you further.
Very vague technique. I want you to place my clone inside of an illusion where he sees purple flowers appear from the ground in front of him. The mere pollen released by the flowers would cause damage towards the enemy, although simply in the illusion. In reality, the target is paralyzed from the physical strain caused by the damage.( Genjutsu: Hanaoka ) - Illusion Technique: Flower Hill
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user summons up illusionary purple flowers from the ground in front of them, damaging enemies with a chance to paralyze them.
Note: Paralysis lasts one turn.
*After focusing my chakra into your clone's mind, I cause him to see an illusion in which purple flowers sprout from the floor all around him. The purple plants release a damaging pollen, which causes the clone to be paralyzed in reality.*
Strong points
Weak points
- Paralysis caused by the technique narrows down the options to counter it
- Since the flowers created are so small, the reasoning of "No vibrations are generated" collapses
- Can prove to be useful for a stall tactic
Combinations-strategies
- The paralysis has a limited duration
- Fairly easily realized technique. Can be countered without much effort (Nagashi)
- N/A
-Tactical use of grassy terrains and similar locations
-Ideally use this with a bio such as Hashirama/Yamato or somehow acquire a Plant-like element and display such abilities before you use this technique. It'll make the technique that much more believable and so more difficult to realize.
Ways to counter this technique
"Releasing without realization", using Nagashi and stating it was used to paralyze the snakes, freeing you of their hold, when in reality its used to break the Genjutsu.
Please redo the counter for this technique. Also, which snakes would you be aiming to paralyze? They are flowers after all.All of these methods produce a reset-like effect on your chakra flow, making it return to normal and dispelling the Genjutsu. However, one most not forget that for a release to be valid, it ALWAYS needs to be partnered with a logical and reasonable explanation of how, from your bio's RP perspective, you figured out it was a Genjutsu/Illusion and thus felt the need to release from it. Releasing from it by "luck" or "because i know its a genjutsu" without stating the why isn't valid.
OOC:That's fine, we all make those mistakes from time to time. Just make sure not to do it with your students, its quite embarrassing (I should know >_<)Since the flowers are summoned/appear in front of the opponent, they could simply say the flowers didn't grow out of the ground or "no growing sounds" accompanied the sudden appearance of the plants.
Since organic material needs a medium to grow/be created from (the ground, the user's body), whoever is affected with this genjutsu can safely deduce they're nothing but illusionary creations.
I'm not sure if the flowers surface from the ground or not, so I would stick to the bolded part to counter this technique.
Sorry about the copy and paste by the way, I'm not too keen on this technique and I doubt I'll ever use it <_>
