I have and it still holds no relevance what so ever. A Sharingan user may have the knowledge of an upcoming wave of Sound genjutsu but the eye is still not going to prevent it from getting caught as it utilises the victims ears.

Unless of course they chop their ears on the spot.

Certain things i agree and disagree with.
It should be obvious that a person wields the sage's eye's wouldn't have genjutsu as their weakness. All 3 forms of doujutsu allows a person attention to detail to spot genjutsu from the very start.

Sound based genjutsu especially kanashibari of any kind is the most troubling and when its sound based like gets annoying even for doujutsu user's. Magen Gama Rinsho is most likely an s - rank genjutsu which got a further boost by sennin modo, so you could say it broke the s-rank barrier. Tayuya's mugen onsa is B rank, it got boosted by sennin modo so it was around A-S rank.

As you said yourself "Normal vision based genjutsu". So lets assume by this definition any genjutsu derived by the 3 tomoe sharingan though it would affect the another sharingan user, they can snap out of it with ease. The trouble lies when it isn't a normal vision based genjutsu, but ms based genjutsu like Koto amatsukami or tsukuyomi. Itachi was confident it would work on sasuke who would've gotten the ems, but actually it worked on a fellow ms user; itachi. I believe KA would work a rinnegan user. Tsukuyomi is more complicated because nagato doesn't carry the uchiha blood, which would allow a mastered 3 tomoe uchiha sharingan user to break. How that would fare against nagato would wields a more powerful dojutsu but doesn't have the lineage work is something that i do not know.

Its true that nagato is a genjutsu user, something that people forget, however that genjutsu he used isn't a defense against genjutsu, but rather a defence against information being leaked out. It trolls those who want to know the paths secret. The only true defence that so far we know of is Magen Kyo Tenchi-ten

Also yin release ins't an element and neither is yang release. Yin yang release is the 6th element.

Why doesn't it hold any relevance? Sharingen is an eye KG and eye is solely dependent on light. Sound genjutsu may cause pain but surely wouldn't effect the eye-sight in any possible manner. Hence the reason White Rage manipulates light to block-out the sight to blind the eyes, rendering their given ocular powers useless. Even the scans prove that after they were blinded, they lost their sussano instantly.

Rinnegan is not a evolution of the Sharingan. It is gained through Senju dna and Uchiha Eye.

Nagato doesn't have the same eyes like Itachi anyways, his eye didn't developed through stages. You couldn't cast a Genjutu at an Uchiha who developed his Rinnegan from a Sharingan but Nagato is only using an implanted Rinnegan, what doesn't make him automatically resistant to Genjutsu. If you refer to Tsukuyomi, Itachi stated that you need to be a clansmen with the Sharingan, in order to see through illusions, the Sharingans ability allows this.

I also remember Itachi saying, that he and Nagato, together with their both Doujutsus could do almost anything, he was referring to the power of both, his and Nagatos Dojutsu, what actually doesn't make Nagato superior in all points though his Doujutsu was supposed to be the strongest and an evolution of the Sharingan. The Sharingan develops from the Sharingan and by those where it is the case, can use the power of both Doujutsus, Nagato cannot. The Rinnegan and Sharingan, are still two separate Doujutsus.

It doesn't matter if he didn't go through the stages, The eyes he was given still contain the sharingan, While madara also proves he can use his sharingans techs with the rinnegan active.

It's like saying Kakashi doesn't have the skills the 1st and 2nd tomoe give because he didn't go throught the first two tomoe stages (since he got it when it had two).

Sound Genjutsu will be useless on Sharingen as it is solely dependent on eyes. Kabuto's White Rage emplyed the use of blinding light to render their Sharingen's abilities useless. So genjutsu is Nagato's weakness but not uchiha's in this regard.

Kabuto's white rage isn't the sound Genjutsu, White rage is just the blinding light and deafening sound, Not a Genjutsu, Itachi/Sasuke's eye were unhindered when they got trapped in the Genjutsu.
