( Magen: Chō Shinka ) - Demonic Illusion: Butterfly Evolution
I can only note two key points/step that is
- the throwing of explosives, and;
- the sinking ground.
The ninja must have explosives in other to create the illusion of butterflies, while the opponent has to be on a solid platform for the sinking feeling to occur.
The goal of this technique is to render the opponent unaware of the caster's movement and actions.
( Nehan Shōja no Jutsu ) - Temple of Nirvana Technique
In my own words:
Here you make a single hand seal then focus on your target, ensure you conceal your presence from your target beforehand, then using your chakra manipulation alter the target's vision to see feathers fall from the sky, as the opponent pay attention to the falling feathers their eye muscles will slowly weaken such that by the time the feather they are focused on touch the ground or go below eye level, their eyes will completely shut close and they fall into a deep slumber.
Role play:
in the heat of battle, I perform a back leap and land mid range from my opponent, quickly I wave my hand forward and send off some wind to distort my opponent view of me then I follow up with a single hand seal and send my chakra to distort my opponent's visual chakra network. I cause my opponent who would have recovered from the wind gale by now to see puff of feathers falling from the sky just above us, the feathers would be so much that it be impossible to miss them, the feathers would appear just moments after the wind gale.
If my opponent is to pay attention to the feathers falling from the air, I would have succeeded in placing them in this illusion technique. Then I patiently wait for their eyes to close and fall asleep, I can easily know if the opponent fake the effect by watching out for their breathing pattern; it is slower and longer for a rested(sleeping) body.

In your last move, I was more or less after a combination that would force your opponent to not be able to use Kai or a release method, ensuring they fall asleep... though that would more or less mean a second move etc.

For example.

You use Temple of Nirvana, maybe a clone/ally uses water ball jutsu
Opponent wants to use Kai or Nagashi (which wouldn't work on an a-rank anyway) so they are forced to counter the water. They then try to use kai.
Your next turn, you attack after they counter the water ball, preventing them from using kai and thus they fall asleep.

Understand?

Sorry for the long delays by the way.

So should all my students by now xD

Now for the last and most spammed opening move of recent tournaments...

BRINGER OF DARKNESS!!!!

( Kokuangyo no Jutsu ) - Bringer-of-Darkness Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 30
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes one handseal, causing the opponent to believe they have been trapped in a world of infinite darkness, where their sense of sight is useless. It is capable of affecting multiple targets within range. However, it does not negate their other senses.

No need to perform it... pretty obvious what it does. You cast a genjutsu to affect your opponents vision, making them see only a world of pitch black around them. They are able to see themselves of course, but nothing else; including clones or allies. This jutsu is able to take hold on multiple targets within range...

Now, tell me how you'd cope with this jutsu if immediately releasing it was not an option.

Could you combo this with another genjutsu (allies can assist you if you'd prefer in your example) or any other jutsu?

* I can cope with it if immediate release is not an option by focusing on my our senses like ear to listen in on sounds produced around me and my nose to smell; everyone and everything has a distinctive odor. If any of my other senses(skin, ear, nose, tongue) should pick up something I will perform an all around attack or defense tech.
* combo with another illusion tech: after performing this technique on my opponent, I will combine with illusion art: crushing snake constriction, while my opponent see a pitch black, a snake would appear from beneath them and squeeze them, not the brightest of ideas I knw x_x.
*a combo with other tech: since my opponent is practically blind, they wouldn't be able to knw what's coming their way if no sound or disturbance in the wind flow occur. So I will combine with a ninjutsu tech "falling paper bomb". Now unless the opponent somehow hear the kunais as they tangle through the air, dodging this is slim.

Taste won't help you too much, though I guess is someone is sending a dust/sand attack, you'd be able to taste it.

Smell, Inazuka and people like Kakashi can utilise smell to locate opponents, Kakashi more so if he can smell blood.

Hearing: Best case for working around BoD as most jutsu have a sound (some exceptions) or you can listen for your target's movement.

The combination with the Crushing Snake constriction is actually a pretty good idea; so long as it is the second jutsu used. Following the rules of layering, the A-rank jutsu needs to be in effect first and then the b-rank jutsu used. That way, they won't be able to see the snake, only feel the constriction. However, they'd be able to hear the command given to the snake possible cluing them in to what's happening.

Understand all that?

Anything else you want to comment on about that jutsu or anything else you've learned?

What else can you tell me about layering genjutsu?

Yeah.
*Is it possible to combine with demonic illusion: hell viewing?.

Layering jutsu
* I know that two ranked jutsu equal to a higher ranked jutsu.
* per say illusion tech, some techs would cancel out the other when used(lay) together due to the contradicting effects of each jutsu used.
* i knw that when two jutsu of different rank are combined, the jutsu with the higher rank triumphs.
*coming to a theater near you*

I don't see why you'd want to though. I mean, using a jutsu that pretty much negates your opponents vision, then using one that requires them to see the illusion per say? I'd say no.

Anyway, I've probably linked this in our training already but it can't help to do so again. has all the info you need about Layering jutsu and breaking from genjutsu.

Essentially you need to cast the higher ranked jutsu first; let us say B-rank, followed by the second but lower ranked illusion; say a C-rank.

When breaking from a layered genjutsu, you need to perform a release method that is capable of breaking the highest ranking genjutsu; for the above scenario a B-rank Kai or genjutsu break. If you use a c-rank genjutsu break, you'd still be caught in the B-rank genjutsu.

Understand? Anything else you want/need to go over before we continue?
