Gengetsu is overral stronger, but Deidara is a bad matchup for him. Can C4 affect Gengetsu's water body?

Deidara would probably win imo. Because in this case i believe explosives are one of the Few things that can affect hozokis. Even if his body turns to water the force of an explosion would still hit it ergo damage would be incurred. Deidara could just fly way up in the sky, like he almost always does, and rain down explosives. On the other hand The mizukage should have no issue with this if his hologram gengutsu can affect deidara at high heights but i dont believe the technique has that range

I believe Deidara wins.

-If he gets on his bird immediately before the Mizukage can summon the clam, he could fly out of range of the mist the clam emits, and rain down explosives until he dies.
-Even if he gets caught, the DC of his bombs(especially c3 or c4) would destroy the clam, and end him.(I doubt the Hozuki's are immune to something that destroys things from the molecular level)
- Lastly, if he has intel, using clones and hiding underground can counter the Mizukage's genjutsu temporarily, and I believe his clones could be used to plant the land mines, which the Mizukage can't detect, and stepping on one can kill him.

So, Deidara should take both scenarios IMO.

The clam genjutsu produces a mirage. It diesnt **** with the chakra flow of others. Its a different type of genjutsu. No matter, deidara wins.
