In this chapter, Amado referred to the genetic information carried by the chakra fruit. This a subject which I have made a number of threads about. In the Boruto evolution theory titled "Divine Beast" I stated that his Otsutsuki transformation is not Momoshiki but an evolution created by tailed beast chakra and the Otsutsuki DNA from his parents. This form is probably the ultimate combination of power and cannot be matched by anything short of another chakra fruit. Yes I said chakra fruit because he is a human chakra fruit that Momoshiki is attempting to consume. Let me explain it more clearly. In the Naruto/Boruto series there has been an underlying theme of reincarnation and evolution which appears to be motivated by the ten tails. Boruto just so happens to be endowed with genetic information from the ten tails via his hyuga bloodline and the tailed beasts chakra. The Hyuga clan is descended from Kaguya who is fused with the original ten tails and share bodies. Her Otsutsuki DNA was dominant in Hamura and the ten tails DNA was passive therefore the complete form of the chakra fruit was never able to manifest its self. It may not have even been possible if Naruto hadn't become a jinchuriki to the level of six paths sage mode. Here I have to restate my theory that the six paths power is an evolution of the "power" contained in the chakra fruit. Thus the six paths power contains genetic information that can be passed down. So the evolutionary path of the Otsutsuki and the ten tails converge at Boruto Uzumaki, a feat which has not been accomplished since Kaguya ate the chakra fruit. Kaguya has been acknowledged as the most powerful character in the series and Boruto is the product of an evolution caused by her.

My favorite Naruto chapters are 616 and 617. Its not about the chakra feat or the action. It was a turning point for Naruto as a shinobi it was the moment when everyone acknowledged him. The alliance that was assembled to protect him had come to rely on him for survival. He became their hope and he did it in such a grand fashion shortly after witnessing the death of a close friend. It was Neji Hyuga that pushed him to the next level of badassness. What does this have to do with Boruto? I believe that the scan below captures the concept of Boruto Uzumaki. Kakashi and Naruto seem to be the inspiration for his design. Naruto's shinobi way is on full display in the face of despair and overwhelming power. This is the type of resolve that Boruto displays and the last panel is symbolic in so many ways but I see it as when Boruto began... In the heart of a shinobi, In the face of adversity, In the bonds of friendship, in love and pain. Maybe it was the tailed beast chakra resonating with the byakugan blood of a hyuga that caused Naruto to feel so strongly. Perhaps it was the "power" seeking to reestablish its self on a better path. Six Paths... Karma...
